Im amazed nobody has went for Lawrence Shankland yet. Played a blinder against us when part of QP team and if still got any of that in him would make a good addition.

Have to say, reckon this is a huge blow, Sean has been great this season and it looks like his season could be over. Out 8-12 weeks with metatarsal injury.

From Daily Record: I think that’s us. We got a couple of knockbacks yesterday on our targets so I don’t think anything is going to happen. I said at the start, as long as we weren’t any weaker at the end of the window - and I don’t think we are. We have Muzzy (Mustapha Dumbuya) coming back from injury, young Kevin Nisbet coming back from a loan, we have lost a couple of fringe players and we added Niall. So we are like for like in terms of competition in key areas. We had a couple of targets that we wanted and we got told they weren’t going to be available.

Banzo wont be back this season, he couldnt turn, so had to get another OP. Scully is out until Feb/March according to Archie. Fraser also injured, although not too sure whats wrong as not heard much. However, I dont think we would chuck him, just look, the club stuck by Welsh on a pay as you play deal, and hes been one of our best players this season.

James McCarthy went for 1.2mil in 2009, McArthur for 500k, and the English Market is so invested in heavy cash the now it could well be anything up to and possibly over £1mil for Liam. Yet, I do believe its likely to be nearer £300k with add-ons (clauses previously mentioned) which could see it possibly go up to nearer the £500k mark. I could be wrong, but the SPL is bargain basement for english clubs...

Dont think we will get anything near that, more likely to be less than a mil. But to be fair, as long as sell on clauses / appearance clauses / and possible clause for promotion is in place it could all add upto 2mil

It would appear we are only team in top flight who will not feature on TV before the split. I suppose it's good as minimal disruption but a tad disappointed that we are only team overlooked. Thoughts?

Noticed he played tonight for the dev team and kept a clean sheet. Presumably that means hes fit. If hes fit id love to see him start Saturday as feel our defensive unit is far more organised with him between the sticks.

Have to say first half was fantastic, every single player apart from Ziggy looked to be strolling the game. First 30 mind of second half was completely awful. Crawford - decent job for 3rd choice goalkeeper Ziggy Gordon - slow start, but probably one of the best when it mattered at the end Lindsay & Devine- average with no one controlling defence Booth - great first half looked tired second half Lawless - hardly his best game but got the vital goal Erskine - continued where he left of. Fantastic showing Welsh - good first half anonymous second half Wilson - good first half awful second half, couldn't make a pass, wasn't helped by Welsh, wasn't up to physical fight. Azeez - impress but missed numerous chances, goals will come Amoo - looked unfit, not his best day Doolan, Pogba, Edwards - added energy, physical aggression and won us the game. Why in the second half were our full backs not passing the half way line till Edward's came on I'll never know Considering Osman, Bannigan, Fraser, Edwards all to come back to full fitness Welsh & Wilson will struggle for starts I believe.

Rumoured that we have offered Ian Vigurs a deal, but he's likely to go abroad rather than join us. Not saw much of him at Motherwell but remember him being a cracking player at County.

If Fox wants to leave I'd like to see Scully get his chance. He's won PotY again at Dunfermline. So must be doing something right!

Interesting he has an article in todays record stating he wants a new deal sooner than later, and has asked his agent to begin looking for deals elsewhere. Shows that the club are in real trouble in terms of holding onto their players until they know if safe or not. Personally I think Scott would be a big loss, although not starting every game and having the occasional flop, he was in the Scotland squad on merit just over a year ago.
