Jaggernaut
Sure this is too easy for us seniors, but it's his day today, and I don't remember seeing this one before.
The Jukebox Rebel
As a footnote to the McColl sketch (whisper it Stu, a 1-6 defeat on 9 January 1915) I should point out that the bold Jimmy came to his senses and went on to score 19 times for the Jags, including goals against Rancid and Septic. We'll forgive him, eh?

Blackpool Jags
Lord McParland could walk on water without getting his socks damp. Levitation and flying would've been a doddle for him.

jaggy
really struggling with this. At first I thought Joe Carson on the right, but now I'm not sure. Then I thought Eddie Gallagher, but maybe too early for him? Don't recognise the other Jag or any of the Dumbarton players
jaggy
I don't think it's Spittal JeanieD
JeanieD
If it is Dumbarton then Gordon Arthur in goal for them? jaggy - was less sure about Spit than Eddie tbh (might be neither or any of them!) stuthejag
Kenny Watson & Paul Donnelly ? It's Billy Mullen & Eddie Gallgher vs. Brechin City with Jim Kerr.
lady-isobel-barnett
I struggle to remember what more than a few Jags players of the 80s looked like. Now and again there's a name comes up that I can't even remember playing never mind recognising. Billy Mullen is one of the latter.
jaggy
It's Billy Mullen & Eddie Gallgher vs. Brechin City with Jim Kerr. Bugger, I thought of Jim Kerr but was convinced it was Dumbarton and didn’t think he’d played for them. Don’t remember Mullen at all. CotterJag
Love this thread but struggle to name most players tbh. I saw a picture a while back of Ray Farningham. It reminded me of a goal he scored versus Morton from what seemed like the half way line. We won 1 - 0 that day and about 2000 Thistle fans got attacked by 5 Morton fans. Even the police were laughing when they ran round the corner towards us after the game.
Jaggernaut
To keep it topical, this was another season in which we got off to a terrible start.

Jaggernaut
andy roxburgh against motherwell Correct. I think the Jag beyond the goalie might be Tommy Ewing, and maybe Tommy Gibb on the right side.... September 25, 1965. 1-1, scorer Conway (I don't remember him). Crowd: "5,000." Oh, and the "Well keeper is McCloy.
