stuart_adam
Fair play to Hamilton; appears they have shown Sarris the door after his behaviour with Storey. Madden could have sent him off, and probably would have saved his Hamilton career if he had. Well done to Hamilton for showing no player is bigger than the club
Guest
Agreed, though from what i saw he was a very poor player. Makes you wonder if they'd have acted in the same way had he been a quality player
jaggy
Is that the reason they’re getting rid? Seems a bit petty to me, he was a bit out of order but I’ve seen much worse
gerrybritton9
Is that true? I thought it was over the top and a bit handbags but nothing dangerous. I enjoyed laughing at him etc but never thought it was violence How many of us have seen much worse in pubs and clubs on a Saturday night? Maybe Canning didn’t appreciate his lack of respect towards him
TartanC4
They got rid of....greek upside-down heed.
Garscube Road End
This appears to be financial. Rumours of Donati and Skondras out the door next. Edited December 28, 2017 by Garscube Road End
gerrybritton9
Cannings comments suggest his behaviour at Firhill had to do with this. Our rivals pushing self destruct???
Garscube Road End
Remember Accies were scammed for a substantial sum earlier in the year. Maybe to do with that.
lady-isobel-barnett
This appears to be financial. Rumours of Donati and Skondras out the door next. The cynic in me suggests that just maybe Sarris's behaviour has somehow made it easier financially to pay him off. Given the full scale barney the week before, when no one got their jotters from the club, it would seem odd that his daftness is seen as worse than manhandling an official. I was led to believe that despite losing all that scam money Accies short term cash flow was sound. Perhaps not so but more likely this is just a good opportunity to get rid of a player who maybe doesn't live up to his wage.

It could be that after the fracas the previous week, the players were warned about their behaviour and he ignored that warning ?

Yes and perhaps infringing terms of his contract? I'm assuming Sarris was contracted till end of the season. I don't believe that Accies have both the dosh and are as principled to pay up the fella's contract in full.
