partickthedog
Not usually one for conspiracy theories, but it does seem that for whatever reason there was an agenda from "on high" that all Cup games were to be on and all league games were to be off, regardless of local weather or general travel conditions, and indeed police advice. Didn't really work out for the cup fixtures as there was less than 9000 at Pittodrie and under 118,500 at Celtic Park.

Weird that during some of the worst weather conditions for years so many of the World's greatest supporters decided at last to heid on home from Seville.
Paulo
SFA pushed for the cup games to be on, SPFL had the opposite view (when does that ever happen??)
lady-isobel-barnett
Going back over the years if we knew the percentage of televised games that are postponed in relation to postponement of non televised matches (ideally involving the same clubs) then I believe we'd see a significant difference. Believe the same could be said for delayed kick offs. It would be verging on serious delusion if anyone thinks the SPFL/Doncaster pay any more than lip service to the rank and file fan, apart from perhaps two sets of supporters. Just look at last season's Xmas Eve fixture card!
elevenone
New date Tuesday 3rd April 7.45ko. Can’t see many making it up although I do thinks schools are off so maybe a few more than norm.
partickthedog
On holiday that week, but in Portnalong on the Isle of Skye. The drive to Dingwall from there is shorter than going from Glasgow and looks like an interesting route following the train line from Kyle of Lafferty. Will actually begin the journey from a point fairly close to my avatar photo. Hopefully that is a good omen!
