eljaggo Posted March 23, 2018 Report Share Posted March 23, 2018 It's abundantly clear that the best endeavours of the Scottish football coaching fraternity have failed for some considerable time to provide an acceptable standard of player. What is needed now is a selective breeding programme. I propose that the SFA (there may need to be a name change there that does not alter the initials) use their funds to buy semen from the world's most gifted footballers, and that is used with women of Scottish origin to provide the next generation of ace Scottish elegible players. This approach worked to improve the stock of Scottish cattle using the Department bull, and it could be argued that the success of the German football team in the 60's and 70's was down to certain attitudes there in the 1930's. Given that the distaff side will have some impact on the offspring's qualities, the question to be answered here is therefore which football players should be paired with which Scottish ladies to give us the team we want.
