That’s why I added in maybe JJ is expecting Colin Weir to build and gift the training ground as well. Where the £10-12m quote comes from is anyone’s guess!!
He is providing the funds to buy the shares for TfE. Whether or not this is £10m is not known, however it is not pumping into PTFC, but money to buy out the shareholders
The bit is the Consortium are funding it - it fails they lose Money
TFE are simply a PR Machine using Coin Weirs Money
The Consortium are a Business
TFE are what exactly ? Who exactly are they that manage to make direct Contact with Colin Weir and get £10MN + of funding immediately - but you dont find that remotely strange ?
But by supporting TfE you will get some say in the TfE decision process. If you don’t like what is being proposed or who they are appointing then you have your democratic right to vote against it (or withdraw support). Not sure what part of that people aren’t getting.
We are moving on. Doolan will I'm sure be an excellent coach. He was after all highly thought of as a youth coach prior to leaving. The fact he'll also hold a players licence is largely academic unless you believe the same manager who didn't play him at Ayr is suddenly going to get all soft and sentimental now he's at Firhill.
I do agree tho' it's time to move on. It's just I see for the reason already given this is a case of moving on. And a very positive instance at that.
McCall is putting the his into Thistle. Making the club a better place, not just the team. Doolan coming back as a coach and mentor would be great. His player registration is a bonus.
