I guess the obvious question I want to ask, as I am not clued on on what goes on internally at the club is; Are David Beattie and or Billy Allan continuing on at the club? If yes, are they in ANY position at all to provide extra funding at all to the running of the club? If not, What position does the club need to be in for this particular situation queried above to become a possibility? Very basic questions yes, but I am not very knowledgeable on the goings-on at the club and would like simple answers to those very simple questions, if that's not asking too much.

I asked about him on their forum and they seem to repeat what Jackie had said on the OS today, very quick and direct. Hope he does well, rather him than some big-headed Celtic or Rangers youth prospect.

What happened on Saturday was embarrassing yes, but there is no need to be calling out the powers that be at this stage. If we start this campaign in the same vain as or worse than last season then maybe, but really the alarm bells shouldn't be ringing now here or at any club after 2 competitive games. Cup shocks do happen.

Hopefully this guy proves us all wrong, the most positive thing one Stirling fan said of him when I asked about him on another forum was "He's not in our team this year". Not a good sign if he's considered rotten by a team who were probably the worst team I have ever seen us play in that 6-1 win earlier this year.

Possibly, I can see Jackie offering him something come the turn of the year if he wants to head into coaching.

I'm not sure if I am the only one who thinks this, but is a two-year deal perhaps a bit much for Rowson? As good as he is, he IS 35 after all. I'm not saying it's bad we have re-signed him, but perhaps a one-year contract may have sufficed and then maybe see how he feels fitness wise at the end of this season. Glad he has signed up though, starting to garner some hope for the team this season under Jackie, though I am not going to rush to make any predictions.
