  1. That's the one ThickasThieves. I was merely suggesting an adjustment to the policy that they need to be accompanied by an adult, but it appears I'm outvoted!!! If this is a completely isolated incident fair enough, my fear was/is as I don't sit in that section I wasn't sure if this was a one-off. Maybe an extra steward at the bottom of these rows would help as one steward can't watch sections at both sides at the same time & we don't want any silly little boys ruining it for everyone else. As I said I do think it's a great initiative & to be honest I wouldn't be taking my 2 year-old if I had to pay £10 for him. He lives around 1 mile from Parkhead & his Granda is a season ticket holder there so hopefully through the U16s go free I can ensure my boys not lost.
  2. I've always thought this was a great initiative by the club & will hopefully build a fan base for the future, however as I had my 2 year old son at the game today I sat down at the kids section & witnessed something that makes me think the club need to rethink this policy. Four young boys were sitting a few rows from the front & not long after Boyd got away with his reckless lunge on ATS one of the wee boys decided it would be a good idea to throw a coin at the referee, missing by inches. Imagine the publicity & the fine our club would receive if a referee was hit by a coin at Firhill. Thankfully, after informing the stewards one of the boys was removed from his seat. Maybe the club should let U16s in for free, only if accompanied by an adult.....
  3. What a great night. Well done to those that organised this & thanks to all the players for making the effort. What a well grounded bunch of boys we have, don't think you could meet a nicer bunch of players, you guys are LEGENDS!!
  4. Will you be allowed entry with your Thistle top?
  5. I have a spare ticket, which I am happy to pass on for cost price as I can no longer make the game. (I'm sure it was £14 but post above makes me think it may be £15) Can give full details tomorrow when I have ticket as it's at home, would be looking to meet someone on Saturday in Glasgow to pass ticket if anyone is interested. Sold
  6. Today was like a travel back in time to the start of the season, we were absolute p*ss poor and got what we deserved. How they managed to find a MoM I will never know, if you did have one it would maybe be Fox for the save in the first half or Doolan for a bit of effort up front but that apart we were terrible. McCall says we need a forward but refuses to give Fraser a run in the team in place of that numpty Greehan. Also, I know he is not the worse but Flannigan frustrates the life out of me, if he's on the left he WILL turn inside which makes it easy for the defender to read, as happened with around 10 minutes to go when the defender let him turn inside then walked away with the ball.
  7. I'd another who'd much rather Raith go up this season and I hope they are promoted by the time they come to Firhill as I'd hate for us to win and promote that muppet Pressley and his team of silky stars.
  8. There may be more important consequences of winning today, i.e. a big pay day for us but the most pleasing aspect for me is not that we finally beat part-time Stirling Albion, but that for the first time in OVER 11 months we managed to score 3 in a competitive game. With Sid back amongst the goals, hopefully Grehan will gain a bit of confidence from his goal and it'd be good to see Cairney returning to the kind of performances we know he is capable of (with a few goals thrown in).
  9. I don't think Cairney did have a good game today and I think he has had a poor season....but, last season he was our player who burst into the box and scored a few goals, when has he done that this season? Has he been told to sit back? It looks like he is sitting a lot deeper and he is not the kind of player to sit, so why would he?
  10. This was discussed over a pint after the game with two friends and myself. For the 3 of us (I am a season tciket holder but let's forget that for aminute) it was £51 to Thistle today. We drink in the Strathy, at £2.30 a T and £2.50 a Stella what was there today to entice us to spend that money at Firhill? That money would buy us a day in the Strathy!! It is a two way street, I want to be part of an atmosphere but the two full backs apart the team doesn't exactly inspire.
  11. You noticed my "deliberate" mistake!!
  12. Well we're not used to that at Firhill!!
  13. All of this. Unfortunately with the bit in bold Halliwell knows (as Tuffey did before him) his place in the team is safe whilst we do not have a no.2 keeper.
