Wasted our January resources on a shite goalkeeper who is worse than what we already have, and a CB who Doolan didn't think should start ahead of Slabhead before getting injured. Tonight as per, Dools stands their clueless with that usual gormless expression as he brings on Bannigan when you're in search of a goal. Throws his hands up to say he makes mistakes - yet never learns from them. Over two months without a league win, and no idea where the next is coming from. Despite a bright'ish start, this season has been garbage.

Just as we did last season, Doolan and Co are doing everything possible to ensure that we don't get promoted. Absolute stubborn unwillingness to deal with the goalkeeping and defensive problems that have been evident for some time. No league win since 6th January. Managers have been sacked for less.

This is on our higher ups as well. Muirhead was explicitly signed as a backup CB two years ago, and two f-ing years later we are still persisting with him. It's not his fault. It's the fault of a clueless management unable to actually address a clear issue over the past two seasons. These are Archibald-like signings during his last season. Utterly clueless. Just waiting for agents to unload their shite on Firhill's doorstep. I mean, seriously. We have THREE f-ing "first team" goalkeepers on the books all demanding a good wage. That's a criminal waste of funds.

I think Doolan lacks the awareness or balls to actually change things. I'm sure Dougie at Morton would not be so forgiving of this absolutely crap. Neilson, Muirhead, and Stewart all need dropped! It's becoming clear that our cheap managerial option is going to bite us on the arse if this keeps up

McInroy is hopeless. Stephen McKeown or Shea Gordon-esq. Good for the odd goal and f-all else.

Whereas other teams actually improved their squads in January, we brought in a traffic cone and an injured CB. Recruitment from Doolan and the board has been an utter disgrace. Get Neilson and Muirhead f--king dropped. And whether you like it or not, Milne and Mcmillan are also part of this absolutely shambolic defence.

Thistle are the league's soft underbelly. Haven't won in two months? Sitting bottom of the Premiership? No worries, come along to Firhill and you'll be sure to leave with full points. Refereeing aside, last night was a disgrace. Muirhead is absolutely done. Not only does he get done like a totally diddy - but he stops, puts his hand up, and calls for an offside rather than playing to the whistle. I'm getting concerned about Doolan's ability to change things. Yes, we are hampered by the players we have (many of whom Doolan signed). But it might be the case of changing the shape and formation. It might be that we have to stop McMillan and Milne going forward as much.

Fight. Luck. Jammy. Never give up attitude. Whatever one of them it was, it's probably a good point. But Doolan needs to put his big boy pants on for Friday and ring the changes at the back. O'Reilly and Stewart to replace Sneddon and Muirhead or Neilson. We are shipping goals, and once again blew another chance of closing the gap on 2nd place.

This team are known to be absolutely hopeless at causing upsets. So, that's an incredible result. That was a masterclass of an away performance, and credit to Dools and the rest of the team. Absolutely fantastic!

McGuigan came through the university team at Edinburgh. To put a damper on it, we tried years ago to bring students and Freshers to Firhill and it failed pretty miserably. It's not a long term solution in any case. Students are only on campus around 25 weeks of the year and tend to return home when their 4 years are over.

Unfortunately he's turned into a jobby that just won't flush.

Bannigan lucky to still be on the pitch. An absolute liability. Diving into tackles on a yellow card.

Hopeless so far. Hoping so see some of our new additions in the second half - hardly a point of keeping them on the bench.
