  1. I never said it wasn’t the right decision. Just offering facts in response to those complaining above about the folly of us postponing. Id personally be amazed if they called the league on average points with less than 40% of the season played.
  2. Average points per game so far.... Falkirk 1.909 Cove 1.727 Montrose 1.636 Airdrie 1.6 Thistle 1.5. If we’d played and beaten Clyde we’d be on 1.636 the same as Montrose.
  3. HAHHAAHAHHAAHAAHAAHH Cheers BB, surely this can’t last as long as last seasons competition?
  4. The open goal miss from Graham show just how little composure we have in front of goal.
  5. Murray, Penrice and Brownlie have all had great opportunities to put us ahead. We really do need to be better in front of goal.
  6. Dos anyone know which of those injuries occurred in matches and which were training related? It does seem that many players become unavailable with no obvious in game knock having occurred.

  8. Much better quality of stream this week.
  9. Celtic to win in my remaining game please BB

  11. For anyone that may have missed the news https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-news/partick-thistle-pre-season-fixtures-and-streaming-update/
  12. Interesting that QOS are signing up youth players, including this freed Jag, on amateur contracts. Exploiting youngsters keen to stay in the game, or a practical move to see if players have it in them to earn a professional contract? http://www.qosfc.com/news-5174
  13. Third virtual 50/50 first prize win for Brian Hannah. Think I’ll need to change my name.
  14. McGlashan didn’t play that day http://partickthistleahistory.wikifoundry-mobile.com/m/page/v+Dundee+(H)+Aug1992
  15. It’s not an old photo but was shared by Craig Walker today on other social media channels, shared here just in case anyone missed it. Magnificent photo I’m sure you’ll agree.
  16. No it isn’t. They deliberately set it for October as the Scot Gov pathway had indicated the possible return of crowds from September.
  17. It’s hardly a new phenomenon, we’ve had loads of players over the last 30+ years that have had multiple spells at the club.
  18. Issues like this I think are key points that were absent from or misstated in the paper the SPFL issued to clubs in advance of the vote. They ignored that financial loans could be given, stating instead that end of season was the only way to release funds. They didn’t explore the option to pick up the league post lockdown with an option to shorten 20/21, as they have facilitated for lower leagues. They suggested player registration was a barrier to completion post 30th June, wasn’t a problem for other leagues and the SFA or UEFA competitions. All of these issues and more put in doubt their compliance with the need to act openly, fairly and In the best interests of all.
  19. So we went to court and won some real concessions for the arbitration process; independent panel, involvement of a legal professional, and full disclosure of documents relating to the vote. We wouldn’t have got these issues agreed if we had gone straight to arbitration.
  20. You do realise that applying the concept of supply and demand it is actually more costly for a League 1 club to produce a bespoke replica kit than it would be for a top league club? Basically our club will make less per kit sold than Aberdeen, Celtic, Rangers etc.
  21. It looks from the photo that he is involved with the charitable trust.
  22. So they’re restarting the top league but others aren’t going ahead yet. Hearts (as an example) have the infrastructure to play but because Alloa (for example) don’t, Hearts will be left with mounting bills and no way to make money. Likewise us and Falkirk further down the league ladder. Clubs will need to start thinking about freeing players, and players may choose to ask for their contracts to be ripped up if they want to play any football this year because there are only a few clubs that can provide that for them. It’s a farce and will undoubtedly leave some clubs disadvantaged, and maybe put out of business.
  23. If teams are unable to play because they can’t meet the costs of testing is that a health and safety concession or a concession because of their financial limitations? Should other businesses be forced to mothball because their peers don’t have the infrastructure or funds to operate?
  24. If they force clubs into mothballing players will lose jobs and clubs could die. Would it amount to restriction of trade?
