  1. I think the club get a set fee whichever way you order.
  2. Graham Spiers exclusive https://twitter.com/GrahamSpiers/ "My Sunday Herald column tomorrow: Peter Lawwell and Neil Lennon can't say it publicly - but Rangers in Division 3 is bad news for Celtic." Cutting edge journalism big lad. Now can someone point me to this week's Gordon Smith interview?
  3. Does anyone here get out walking at the weekends? Have been trying to get out walking every few weeks but it's hard going when it pishes down most weekends and anything off the beaten path turns to mush... Still building up my fitness, and ankles, for bigger hills so doing a mixture of longer flatter walks and some low hills ..got the bus to Drymen a few weeks ago and walked back along the WHW to Milngavie. Beautiful sunny day and really quiet on route. Magic. ...spent the other Sunday doing Conic in the morning, lunch at the Carbeth Inn and Auchineden and the Whangie in the afternoon. Bit drizzly but really enjoyed it. ....tomorrow is a flattish walk through Glen Loin and Coiregrograin at Arrochar. 10.5 miles on military tracks and paths with views along Loch Long Details from Walk Highlands Looking to build up to Munros over the next few months
  4. Christ Woodstock are you saying we shouldn't jump to conclusions? Do you write the club statements? PLAIN ENGLISH PEOPLE!!!!!
  5. And they were! Now let's demand an apology from the Daily Record.
  6. Well done to the club. Now let's demand an apology from the Daily Record.
  7. Yeah Trotter but where's the evidence????
  8. Me neither Santana, I just didn't understand why we were looking at another goalie. From what was posted by others it looks as if Scully might be going out on loan so that maybe explains the Italian keeper.
  9. Lenzie Jag gonna give it a rest? From the start you have said you wouldn't be bothered if we voted for them to get into Div 1. That's your position and you're are more than entitled to it. Others have said that they were bothered with how we as a club voted. That's their position and they are more than entitled to it. Those who are bothered with how we voted are asking for clarification in light of an ambiguous statement from our club and a newspaper report. It's a right and proper thing to do if they feel that their continued support of the club is at issue. As stated there are plenty of other clubs to have said how they voted so there is no reason why PTFC cannot come out and provide the assurance that some fans are wanting - unless we as a club did indeed vote for Rangers to div 1.
  10. btw don't know if it was discussed by QOS beat us 4-1 the other day closed doors http://www.dgstandard.co.uk/dumfries-sport/dumfries-football/queen-of-south-fc/2012/07/13/queens-look-to-gretna-tie-after-opening-pre-season-wins-51311-31382298/
  11. Why the hell are we looking at a keeper? Given the finances in football then a young backup to our usual first choice is all we need. Is there any chance we think Fox could be off if Dundee get promoted? Surely not?
  12. Page 4 of the paper in an article titled "2 women, 28 men, 1 vote" names us as 1 of the 5.
  13. The Record has named us as one of the 5. Lets hope they are wrong.
  14. If these proposals are for the betterment of the game then they will be offered unconditionally. If these proposals are offered conditional to Sevco getting a SFL1 place then they will not be for the betterment of the game. It really is that simple.
  15. Do you need to give a reason for stopping going to the football these days? I assume you must seeing as so many people appear to have been kind of looking for an excuse to stop going anyway.
  16. Would that be Jim Ballantyne the Rangers shareholder? However will he vote on Friday????
  17. I think the SFL will agree to let them into the second tier - with the promise of major reform for next summer (2013). Also think that's what most of the SFL1 clubs actually want, despite the fan's wishes being very different. But hey we only support football so what do we know?
  18. And here comes what our club have been asking for; http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/18754479 We are ready to sell our dignity if give us a big enough carrot - that should have been our statement.. It turns out that Airdrie/Gretna/Third Lanark weren't bankrupt - just poor
  19. In my opinion people are discussing too many issues regarding Newco and I think that is why some people think there is an agenda at play. This is a simple one question discussion. Question - if any Scottish club were liquidated where is the highest place in professional football where they could apply to start again? Answer - SFL Div 3 (and to date no club has been allowed straight back in) Anything else is special treatment and for that reason I will find my interest in football lessens. Let's face it the football we have in Scotland is mostly shite, the atmosphere is mostly shite, football in this country has been dying on its arse for years. Money has ruled this game and driven it into the gutter and now we propose to change the rules because of the need for money? Change is needed but you can only have it if you change the rules for Newco! Our game is dead if that's how we choose to go forward.
  20. And as JJ posted on Friday OneThistle is going nowhere. What to believe?
  21. That's grim LMJ. But the our club has a long history of kicking hardworking volunteers into touch, so it's not surprising to read your post.
  22. LMJ - can I ask what you done as a volunteer that the club didn't need done by you anymore?
  23. GJ if you see a quote just click on arrow above it and it will take you to the original post.
