I think Seabiscuit and the rest of the defense has done very well this season. I hope we retain them all for next season. Well done big man, his experience and influence is there to see. At our level we can't expect a teamful of players who excel at everything. I would much rather have a collective unit playing well together than one individual who we over rely on.

Pretty sure he was offered, and signed, a years extension just before Locke was binned so he's tied up for another season at Killie. The poor soul, hope he enjoys the Championship. Defensively we've done well this season and on that basis we don't need him if we keep existing personnel.

I love using a jet washer round about the garden and decking, it's very therapeutic. If the club could hire a handful of jet washers at the end of the season over say a weekend, I'd happily come in and help with jet washing the seats and the concourse in the North Stand and the JH. Anyone care to join me? I would of course leave the piles of accumulated shite on the seats in the excellent Main Stand in preparation for arrival of the arse cheeks. In fact, I'd happily add to it by personally making a 'donation' just before their arrival. On second thoughts, will the board be moving the North Stand again next season for these matches? May have to have a rethink Hmmmm....

Maybe so, but if you were currently on £750 per week (for the sake of talking, no inside knowledge) and tomorrow were offered £1500 per week for a new 2 year deal, but in the case of relegation to the Championship you would be back onto £750 pw, would you sign it? Stuck with the team in the Championship for possibly the rest of your contract? I wouldn't, I'd wait it out. Of course you could end up Balatoni-ing things up I suppose!

If this is true (16 players out of contract) then I really fear that the progress we've been making, and the promise that has been shown in the last couple of months, is in grave danger of being chucked away. If even 8 players decide to try their luck elsewhere then we'll be back at square one for next season, mass introduction of new players that will take time to gel once the season starts. It's still a hard one (ohh missus)...still only 4 points or so from the play off place despite recent improvements, there's still time for things to turn downward again, hence the board no doubt being cagey about offering improved contracts to most of the players. Maybe if the form and point collection continues throughout January we'll hopefully be in a safe position and the contract renewals for most of the 16 can begin then. To be honest, I can't see many clubs in our premiership being in the position to offer better deals to our players before the end of the season for the exact reason as us. I see eight teams been very close points wise for the rest of the season.

Dropping down TWO divisions, there's really no reason why he shouldn't "get going" from the first game if he was any sort of professional.

To be fair Mr Winter, there's few few players worth remembering from the 1980's so don't be worrying about that.

Seabiscuit and Bannigan were my joint players of the match today, both were superb at doing different jobs. I think big Dan's showing the form that we all know he's capable off now that he's getting a good injury free run. Well done to everyone else though, they all gave everything. Loved Dumbaya ripping the piss out of their winger by dribbling circles round him in our own penalty area on the second half.
