  1. I agree with Motherwell Jag in that whilst yesterday was so disappointing, we just need to kick on now and cement 6th place which is within our reach. On the plus side, I never knew that the garden is suitable for a top level football match, I can only assume this based on the surface yesterday.
  2. I agree with the sentiments here, I will never forget how empty I felt after the Ayr United 3-1 defeat end of season game or the journey back home on the train the next day. We've had some great performances this season and I hope for even more next season.
  3. Any matches I can get to easily please. Colchester United or Ipswich Town would be great if an East of England tour is planned. (Unlikely I know)
  4. I took my wife to Firhill for the first time for the Ross County in February, She said it was the worst game she'd ever seen. I have of course assured her that the next time will be a terrific match. She was impressed by my pie though.
  5. I clocked the Balotelli faux pas also but had sound issues too whereby the commentators volume was low except when goals went in. I'm just glad we got 3!
  6. I agree with much of what has been said here. Saturday was my first opportunity to watch a game this season and apart from leaving feeling dejected was it felt to me that we just weren't trying. I just want to know we're giving it our all and from what I've taken on board from what you boys talk about, this wasn't the only match where we were missing performances from key players.
  7. Its my first match of the season (Finally got enough money for flights/hotel) so I desperately hope we win this one. I've only seen us lose once (being several hundred miles away) but that was in that dreadful Ayr United end of season decider in around 1998. I was so hopeful after Gareth Evans got that goal just before half time.
  8. I read an article a few years ago that covered an old Arsenal ground whereby houses were built on the site and at the bottom of each of the gardens there were steps showing which were the beginning of the terraces. Interesting article but entirely irrelevant in that I can't remember where I read it....
  9. Nobody should be making fish puns just for the Halibut.
  10. I quite like it (From seeing it on the website), certainly prefer it to last seasons but I am appalled by that ladies polo shirt on TTL in pink. Good job the wife doesn't want one, it looks as if the shape is a bit weird but the rest of the new stuff looks ok.
  11. Man: Doctor, I think I'm addicted to Twitter Doctor: I'm sorry I don't follow you.
  12. I hope we do play at Fleetwood as I've never been despite being a man of the world. (Apologies)
  13. I'm looking forward to pre season personally, I'm currently looking to see if I can get a train from North Essex to Fleetwood and back in a day....It can be and I hope will be done
  14. How does Moses make his tea? Hebrews it.
