Does anyone here remember the last time we played at Starks Park on Grand National Day?
Scenario.- Season 2004/05. Raith already relegated having previously accumulated only 13pts beat us 1-2, effectively relegating us as well.
One person on here (let's call the poster, me) on leaving the ground spots three unselected regular team members sauntering back into Starks having forsaken our match for the lure of Aintree. This poster who lived a relatively short journey from Kirkcaldy and still irate at the result (and no doubt the world in general) too promptly posted observations on the then current Jags forum. Didn't foresee that some web lurcher from the Daily Record would pick up on this. By Monday said paper would deem such an incident worthy of headlining import.
Looking forward to tomorrow's game in full knowledge that whatever the result I won't be on anything like the downer I was on 19 year ago.
I was at that game, I think the bunnet went mental about them going off into town.

The Morton fans were wanting Imrie sacked before Xmas
And look how, given time, he is improving things.
Im for giving Dools time to get this right. Playoff position is the aim this year, I’d still give him another season in charge if we fall short.

We are in the kind of run and free fall that if you were ian McCall would get you sacked.
Reality check. We are third and in the play-off positions which was the aim this year.

Disappointing all round. Stewart is not the answer to our goalie question.

McBeth starts.
Doh!

O’Reilly and McBeth injured too?

I think we are due a 4-1 home win, or something close to that. C’mon the Jags

I also went to Dunard St primary. But a bit later than yourself. I started 1960, i remember the teacher that took the football team used to call us 'The MudLarks'.
What, there’s someone older than Auld Jag

A point away to a resurgent ICT under Big Dunc is probably okay in the greater scheme of things

The Blue card is an answer to a question that shouldn’t need asked. Keep the clutter out of football.

This will be of interest to the older Jags fans

Such sad news, I’d met Susan a few times and knew how passionate she was about the Jags.
One of lifes good people, she will be missed. RIP

Why wait? I’d say get in there now. I like the idea about some kind of partnership with the Uni team. Did McGuigan not come to us from a Uni team?
McGuigan and James Craigen both had university backgrounds

Spot on…..and very relevant in that Donald McClymont first attended firhill when he came to Glasgow as a student …..
Agree with @elevenone and this. Students are geographically part of our fan constituency. We offer something different from the Old Firm.

Thats how you start rumours about the women’s team doing pre-season in New York

They are not "benefactors" that is the whole point
They are buying assets in the Club in the form of shares - this is necessary because we run the Club at a loss
I have no issue in the USA Company buying the Club and Running it - I do have an issue with this not being upfront and open - we went from "Fan Ownership" to the "German Model" of 51% Ownership overnight - when was that agreed and by whom ?
There is more than one way to run a balanced budget & TJF first question is are those on the Board 100% capable of doing so
Because if they don't - Plan B is to keep selling off shares to the USA Investor ( I'm assuming up to 49% ) If required
You have a point, caller. Because it we rely on American money to get through each season, McClymont will soon hold 49%

Nothing against SOD, but why are we always looking at former players ? There are decent players out there who haven’t played for The Jags before.
He’s cheaper than Mbappe

Decent line-up, just not sure about Alston. Hope Stanway, O’Reilly & McBeth get a run out
