The women probably don’t damage the pitch as much as men but we can’t forget the state the pitch got into when we shared with QP.
Aye, Queens Park had a few archaeologists playing for them. Time Team had nothing on them.

Ok …. I need to ask what is ‘ transitional season ‘ ? Since it seems to be the excuse of the week
it was always going to be tough to get past DU given their finances but why should we struggle to get into the top 4 ?
unless Doolans recruitment is poor
A transitional season is one where we moved from a squad that was budgeted for promotion to one where we lost some key players.
Apart from missing a defensive midfielder and having signed Alston, the rest was as good as Doolan could get on the budget given.
The transition from one Board to another can’t have helped either.
Once Doolan has a proper go at rebuilding during this season, the transition will be complete. -
Doolan deserves time to get this team functioning better. I always thought this would be a transitional year after the loss of Turner, Tiffoney etc.
Realistic target would be sneaking into the top 4. So let’s not lose the heid just yet.

Aye, a humping at home. Not so good

Decent starting 11, would like to see Stanway and Adeloye on as subs

Jumpers for goalpost, Pumpkins for footballs.

That must have been one of the few times Slippers scored. He rarely scored in Clatty Pats either

I have read that statement. It mentions the club board negotiating the deal and TJF not seeing the detail until a couple of days before it was due to be signed. I am disappointed it doesn’t acknowledge the link between the two and address how much the TJF members on the club board knew.
It also says that the loan to Alistair Creevy has been repaid. Was that before or after he was sacked ? These are important points in the road to openness.
If the fans own the Club, and the TJF represent the fans, two days notice with no time to consult members is simply not good enough. This was supposed to be a new era of transparency and consultation.

The events of the past couple of weeks on the Board are a little concerning. I still don’t understand why the two guys from the PTFC Trust are serving on the Board when there were no democratic elections to select them; IMO they need to be gone as the last remnants of the evil empire.

Are we just bickering over names, or is there a fundamental difference between a trust and a foundation? I genuinely don't know.
I assume the "Trust, dear oh dear" comment referred to the PTFC Trust?
Can we start on the Peoples Front of Judea?

There are not three trusts
The Jags Trust
The PTFC Trust
The Jags Foundation

This kind of public falling out via social media makes the Club look stupidly amateur.

The pitch at ICT could be as bad as it was in our cup reply up there in 2003.
-
Looking at the communications emerging I have an over-riding sense of sadness. I thought we had got all the politics and infighting out the way with the removal of the last Board, it seems not.
Many fans just want to see a positive attitude on the pitch, not more distractions off it.

It’s a matter of trust, and I trust the judgement of the TJF following their statement

Still no comment from TJF on the ousting of the Club Chairman. The email today focuses exclusively on the new investment.

That’s awful if they did that. Suicide is never the topic for comments or chants.
