Ok …. A poor start with 1 point out of six …. The loss of leads in matches and the late goals conceded is in danger of becoming a trend …. Up to the manager to sort it out

Sure. But Doolan is better equipped to sort it than iMac was

I think some should remember that Dools has been our manager for just short of 6 months. This is his first managerial position. He lost a number of our main players from the past few seasons and is building a team with a smaller budget than previous seasons because we now have people in charge of our club who are doing the right thing and are not willing to put the future of the club in danger. He has also had to cope with losing his Father only a few months back.

Was i disappointed when we lost the play off final an emphatic yes.

Was i disappointed as i left Firhill today again yes.

Will Dools make mistakes, of course he will, but if he shows he learns from it, he will be a better manager.

Imo unless we go on a run that puts us in danger of going down, the manager should get the backing of everybody at Firhill.

This is such a good post @Auld Jag

The decision to put Williams at  right back and Neilson at CB when he is right back cover was simply mental

Doolans view that we have cover for all positions is well eh shite

Most excellent to have your positive contributions to the forum; I have missed them.

Hospitality was exceptionally busy all last season. One of few things for which I can't fault the previous regime. So if things continue at that price then all the better.

To be fair, hospitality was often sold out because of the efforts of Lesley Ann (who sadly has left). She did a brilliant job of promoting it.

Presumably some work going on at Firhill in preparation for this ? My wee aunties care home had a visit to Firhill yesterday morning. Although she had a great time they didn’t get a cup of tea - because of a board meeting and refurbishment. She’s 94 and sometimes gets stuff mixed up.

Luckily for her she’s signed a 2-year contract.
