  1. Haven't really been on the much as I have been busy with other things. One of which is a book that I co-wrote fellow jags supporter Robert Marshall and is published by Pitch Publishing. You can buy on most online book sellers. At the moment the best deal seems to be with WH Smith who are selling it for £13.59.

It is available in some shops too with both Waterstones in Glasgow City Centre having copies in stock.

Tomorrow I am on 'Off the Ball' promoting the book, so if you want to listen to Radio Scotland from 12 to 2pm you might get to hear me make an arse of myself.

Anyway with Christmas coming up it is a great present for any Scotland fan , so please let people know about it. Thank you

  2. I know I don't get around to posting things on here as much as I used to but a few of you have bought this magazine in the past and hopefully will continue to do so. It is my intention to sell it at Firhill, no doubt alongside some copies of that dodgy fanzine SITB but I am holiday soon and won't get to Firhill for a while. As usual you can still buy it on ebay in the meantime. Please Robert Marshall and myself have abook coming out on October 2nd called 'Scotland Glory, Tears & Souvenirs' published by Pitch Publishing. I've managed to sneak in a few Jags references too; an ideal Christmas present for any Scotland fan.

As always all seven copies of the Epistles can be bought on ebay too for only £16 including postage.

  3. I wouldn't worry too much - me and my hyper bowl are at it! The stat is really a credit to Doolan's durability rather than anything else; due to his form/fitness, he rarely misses a game. In each of the last two seasons he has an end-of-season table record which is ahead of the club itself (on goal difference), a most unusual occurrence in one season, never mind 2-in-a-row. Since the aforementioned 2014 game in the Highlands (and before last night), the no.9 had missed just 4 in competitive action:

    01.10.2016 Rangers [a] L0-2 (SPFL Premiership - game 7)

    31.10.2015 Heart of Midlothian [h] L0-4 (SPFL Premiership - game 13)

    09.08.2015 Celtic [h] L0-2 (SPFL Premiership - game 2)

    08.04.2015 Celtic [a] L0-2 (SPFL Premiership - game 32)

Thanks for that - good record keeping! Random query #147: Would you happen to have the 3 officials for the Lokeren game?

Chris (49 goals, 44th) is well of Stevie (35, joint 64th). There's certainly a lot of goals (237) in this Thistle team at the moment.

So who's making the Erskine 50 scarf then.
