  1. It almost looks as if the moustache wants to reach out and grab you quite intimidating i like it!
  2. Let's hope it's fabulous and is a best seller and makes the club lots of money and is out soon and oops I've when up and realised it was only a dream!
  3. I spoke to the man from joma at the end of last season who enthusiastically claimed that this new seasons away kit would be the best ever it will be black and pink incorporating the breast cancer logo and will be exclusive to Thistle. That's why I'm excited to see if it lives up to his expectations
  4. Has anyone heard of the launch date for the new away kit as my son in Australia keeps moaning at me to send one out to him asap.
  5. I`ve been a jags fan for over forty years and was in the singing section nearest the away support in the main stand, behind a mother and daughter when the trouble in the main stand began. No matter the provocation provided by away fans the behaviour of a large part of the home fans near to me brought shame on our great club!To see the mother and child flee in terror and having to pick up a fellow fan off the ground after he was knocked over in the rush to confront the police ,stewards and away fans filled me with horror. This is my club , a family club, all of those who acted in this mob handed mentaliity should be reflecting today on their conduct as i would never wish to see the hatred yes hatred on the faces of my fellow thistle fans ever again. Smoke bombs and banners worshiping dead terrorists are not our style neither is thuggery and violence. our fans were no angels last night ,lets not rewrite history and blame everyone but ourselves.I am proud to be a jags fan, lets not tarnish our reputation for humour and fairness with a repeat of the conduct of far too many of our fans last night!.
  6. Playing two up front does not require both strikers to sit on the last defender. We could easily play with one sitting midfielder instead of two and have the second striker drop into midfield when we do not have the ball.We have the players to do this and it would not effect our present style of play.
  7. At least Archie plays a striker! You can just see the crowds flocking to Firhill to watch Levins exspansive 4-6-0 formation!
  8. Am i alone in finding the decision by Archie to substitute Baird for Doolan, one short striker for another short striker incredible as it was obvious that this strategy was clearly not working , when we were crying out for something different ie Mukendi who could also help out with set pieces. He may be hopeless as some people say, but what chance has he had. He would certainly have given the Aberdeen defence something different to think about and may have created knockdowns for our midfield! What did we have to lose with one shot on target in 80 minutes?
  9. Hate to mump and moan but surely after that woefull heartless performance in the cup it`s time to try something different up front. We cant score from open play and provide little threat to opposition defences.Lets give Mukendi a try with Doolan playing off him,it cant be any worse than it is now,can it? Piccolo was our best player today so maybe he should get an extended run instead of Conrad who looks totally out of form.
  10. Roughie, surely the greatest ever Scottish goalkeeper. Mind you that Mcgrain fella in the wee teams colours was'nt half bad either.
  11. Blairdardie/Old Drumchapel a bastion of Thistleness. One of my proudest achievments is that my eighteenyear old daughter (who hates football) knows all of the thistle song off by heart.
  12. Oh how tragic it must be for you to live without a sense of humour, it must be such a dark and souless world u live in with racists round every corner.
  13. Sorry Comrade, I the internationalist was only trying to find a consensus amougst fans as to where we should meet to maintain a singing section at the celtic game h
  14. Its obvious that we are desperate for a mobile penalty box finisher, as much as i like Doolan and Baird neither seem to have that killer instinct in the box and a fit Baattie might be just what were looking for.
