Concerned on 2 counts:
- This thread has been started too early.
- The thread title is too conventional.
I hope we can take advantage of the fact that Ayr will not be well enDowd in attack. Apologies!
1) can never be too early
2) must try harder

Time we had a thread. Dowds out, from unreliable sources. A lot depend on Airdrie v DU on Friday night, as regards team & tactics. Bring it on I say!

The name that caught my eye was Kenny Watson.
Wun h*n that wasn't dun!

Should be good. They need the win more than we do. Especially if DU win tonight, which is distinctly possible.

Hope the injury to Lawless is as bad as it looked.
"isn't"?

I find myself excellent company, even if few others do...

Does that mean ICT should have had a penalty kick?
Just looked at highlights again. Kerr's dive was just outside the box. ICT had had a decent penalty shout earlier.

Why doesn't someone start a match thread?

allowing Robinson in particular to get further forward.
Robinson was given acres of space by ICT - they were fixated on marking our wide men.

What worries me is - they need the points more than we do.

I salute your indefatigability

Can we keep the goals against to 1?
Seems unlikely

With that pitch, anything can happen.

We face Morton next and they are on a bit of a slump with Oakley and Wilson out
And yet they gave Hearts a run for their money.

Raith were woeful. We were worse.
I thought Raith were quite good actually. As you say, we were worse.

Apart from anything else - what's with the horrible fiery pitch? Hard to get the ball down and play football.

We have statistics for "Expected Goals", which I never understand, but does anyone produce statistics for XJH or "Expected Jumping Height"?
Surely Scott Robinson must exceed every XJH metric with his spring-heeled leaps?!
Lewis could watch and learn.

Not sure I see that. However, no complaints from DU defenders, which you'd expect for an offside.
-
Brian looks a tad offside there, but don't tell anyone. Maybe the flick came off the defender.
-
What else can we do on such a tight budget?

Amazing from Arbr.oath. You'd think they were playing us!
But if they can do that, so can we. DU are a bit jittery these days, not just us
-
I don't think he'll change much.

I remember we signed that ancient defender from St Johnstone number of years back, cant remember his name, he was great no nonsense defender did his job nothing else and I'd take him over Neilson any day.
Steven Anderson. Agree re Neilson - great with the ball, not so great without the ball.
