  1. Anyone close to the bing see if hazard was out his box for the save? Looked miles out from where i was sitting. Good win, should of been more comfortable if we hadnt missed two sitters. The offside decision for ally roy was a joke though. Well onside and level if not behind the defender. Dykes had not one but two blatent kicks at saunders, how that was a booking is beyond comprehension. Looked a good player though as did stirling. Fitzpatrick is some player.
  2. Good professional performance today, maybe a tad lucky that devines header hit the bar and bounced on the line but we deserve some luck finally. The mutumbo sub was bizarre timing however I think it as the right personnel change. There was a throw in 5 minutes before the sub where mutumbo was "marking" Jimmy c, the ball landed less than 3 feet from him and he just allowed it to pass onto Jimmy for them to break upfield. I hope Caldwell is trying to get us to press high and not let players wander 40 yards unchallenged and if you don't work hard at helping your defence it won't be tolerated. I also think the fact he didn't bother to handshake mccarthy on the way off was very poor and that he's the sort of player we can't afford when we are down the bottom. Would much rather play Quitongo with his physicality. Spittal was immense today, best I've ever seen him in terms of work rate and also agree that Elliott played really well, especially pushing forward second half. Oh and please stop letting mcginty play it out from the back....hooof! Bring on the wasps next week.

Exactly what I thought. Cammy bell is honking, rarely does he save anything at ground level. Far too slow to get down and his positioning is poor. That said the defence didn't help him out much. The one thing that struck me was the total lack of communication between players, how many times did two players go for the same ball today. We aren't nearly vocal enough. Good win though and nice to see three goals.
  4. Blind positivity isn't either Sandy. I'm not sure how the negativity is blind when you see our results over the past 18 months. If u think this can be turned round over the next 3 months before Xmas you're a fool.
  5. No Dave but maybe they should ask if he has a second formation or plan b if things are going up shit creek? Come on now. And Sandy I think fans are allowed to question the abilities of the management team given the last 12 months. U are like the trump of this forum with your 'everything is awesome'posts. I look forward to your fake news nothing to see here folks narrative soon.
  6. Have they? The majority of posts ive read have asked for Archie to go and that includes all the social media platforms u mention. The problem is the board don't care what the fans think and that's been the case over several issues. Other than protesting outside firhill after games the only other option is not attending which would put the club even more in the shitter. I get your angry as we all are but blaming the people that keep the club afloat is pretty ridiculous.
  7. Lawless off to accies supposedly and osman off to dens park. If it's true its sad to Stevie go, thought he was the only real creative player on show today.
  8. Whilst I completely agree with the cash gates, thistle could of at least informed fans that they can sit where they want after allocating seats (season tickets holders aside) rather than leaving fans asking the questions on 'Twuutter.' ( ala the cheer leader last night).
  9. Don't want to add to the doom and gloom but archies subs tonight were shocking. Let's take off doolan and play a wide right who can't cross or do much else, Barton did well when he came on but we were chasing the game. Must win game and a home draw means the coach should be offski. But not thistle. Amateur club.
  10. Tomas cerny must be the first keeper in history to be booked for diving! At half time the stadium was filled with apathy but it just goes to show what we can do with two up front. Thought sammon was excellent when he came on and also huge credit to Chris erskine for giving his all right to the end. You can tell he loves the club. As noted above no outstanding performances but a lot of fight. The great lambino would have been proud. Well done lads.
  11. Really don't know what osman has to do to get dropped. If he's not passing it backwards or pushing folk over for silly free kicks he's passing the ball out of play and blaming other players. His attitude stinks. Pass marks to lawless and McCarthy today but apart from that it was a pretty awful afternoon topped off by a pg version of fight club on garscube road after the game. Killie allowed us to play up to the box and then snuffed us out as we are so predictable. The Barton substitution sums it all up. Archie is out of ideas.
  12. I'm also not disputing i waited in the queue for longer than normal when there was only 15 folk in front of me but I also was there for 2.15 and was seated for 2.30. I did notice a ton of folk streaming in at about quarter past three but i definitely did not recognise any of them from waiting next to me an hour earlier. As someone who lives in Hamilton I used to try and defend them against the critics but, hour long queues aside, I felt the lack of professionalism was more on the pitch than off it. Labelling yourself a family club yet allowing freedom of local burnbank bams to shout and behave as they like is bad enough but to claim for about 10 penalties for handball and the blatant pulling back of players when almost clean through three times has at least allowed me to realise I will never take my kids there to learn about footballing values. As someone said earlier we are too nice, and it will cost us our place in this league.
  13. Trying hard not to sound too bitter but that has to be the worst refereeing performance for a couple of seasons. Diving, cynical fouls, pushing and pulling and honking foul throws seem to be fine if you were an accies player today but the opposite for thistle. How many bookings did we get for nothing fouls or dissent? I lost count. The game had no flow because of the constant sound of mr Walsh's whistle. However the truth is that yet again we fail to convert our chances and lose another sickening late goal. It can' be a coincidence that it happens so often and the management team need to take accountability for that and the result. Nothing saw today convinced me we are able to drag ourselves out of the relegation fight and not end up in the play offs. I can' wait for this season to end.
  14. Cernys time wasting (or game management as some might call it) is so frustrating. I can see why Dundee got so pissed off about it and how he wasn't booked I don't know. It came back to bite us in the ass anyway. Can someone also show woods how to take a bloody corner. When spittal came on I was hoping he would take over but alas no, woods continued to fail to beat the first man time and time again. I think we got what we deserved with the usual hold on to the one goal lead mentality instead of pushing for a second. We are in deep trouble and like others above I don't think we have the metal for the fight.
  15. Pleasantly surprised with a dodgy team selection for a bit but the spittal for Barton sub was a total submission of defeat.
