  1. My wife doesn't like football but I told her the ladies toilets were getting a mirror, dyson hand dryer, those fluffy things on the lid your Gran had and some pot purri. She's only gone and bought a season ticket for her and a friend 👍.
  2. @laukat I think you make a great point. Lots of my friends dropped away from football of various teams and national team with the arrival of children. It's hard work for both parents. Having facilities where people can wait and be entertained would be a good addition. @elevenone we are a small club with limited staff numbers. I think this is where volunteers from TJF could come to the fore and use their skills and time to get new fans especially students.
  3. Sneddon McMillan Neilson O' Reilly Milne Stanway Bannigan Lawless Robinson Fitzpatrick Adeloye
  4. Did we change formation with the subs that came on?
  5. I'd have O'Reilly for Muirhrad and Robinson for Alston from that.
  6. Because TJF have the majority shareholding and so power. I'm sure you make a lot of good points but the message is lost on a message board. It comes across as confrontational instead of useful.
  7. @Jordanhill Jag you should join TJF and get involved. You obviously have a brain, experience and plenty of ideas. It's better to be in the tent than outside
  8. Baws We def could have done with him. His goal and assist stats last season were superb. Our midfield is not clicking and he could have helped in the 2 next to Banzo.
  9. I think people are putting way to much hope in McBeth. He's been playing part time football. No full time pre season. He needs time.
  10. Can we agree to disagree. This is getting tedious.
  11. Don Thomas is a very good player and the wheels on the QP bus are def falling off. Maybe they progressed too quickly? Just don't think we can pay any transfer fees.
  12. Defender Midfielder Attacker Who will it be?
  13. After the Inverness home game I just can't pick my midfield 3. Midfield is just not clicking and I can't decide what my favoured 3 are after seeing a variety of combos. CF, RB & RW, LB & LW all pick themselves and are ones we can depend on. The rest I just don't know.
  14. Football is a short career. Every player has every right to go elsewhere and earn more money do they can provide for themselves and their family During the play off's Tiffoney and Turner gave their all. Total professionals on the pitch.
  15. Donald McClymont.. I like the cut of his jib. A good person to be on the board and to put money into the club.
  16. I think a strong experienced Centre Half should be our first choice.
  17. 'It's rubbish' - Adams slams Premiership quality - https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/67740071 A terrible interview. A truly dour I.M Jolly of football.
  18. Raising £ to the club via Players Fund etc is good IMHO But am I right in thinking £ via The Jags Foundation goes further with tax purposes (no VAT is taken)??
  19. Sounds like an Oasis/Beatles tribute band. I remember he was with us. Now at St Mirren loaned out to Linlithgow Rose. Any idea why he left us?
  20. Mate you should be a therapist!
  21. Don't forget Greaves https://www.greavessports.com/pages/partick-thistle
  22. With all respect @Jordanhill Jag do you have a better idea? 1. Board members investment 2. External investment/donations 3. TJF funding 4. Sponsorship incl 71 Club 5. Season tickets, walk ups and hospitality 6. Centenary Club & Players Fund Multiple ways of raising money. The Players Fund has also existed for 10 years or so.
  23. Everything the club do is a "Begging bowl" in all reality. We are a small club and neef as much money as possible all the time. That's life. Any initiative to get £ should be used.
