  1. Marginally bigger, but not better. Higgy would be mad to make this move. Locke is clearly a dud manager and Killie are very much due a relegation. If he is going to move to a club like them I'll lose a fair whack of respect for him (but also still love him).

    Scott Fox

Does it? Scully has came through the youth ranks and been POTY for Dunfermline for the past two years. I'd far rather he got a chance over a more experienced (and, yes, more expensive) cast-off from the lower leagues in England, as would probably be the most likely alternative. And it really isn't that big a step up for a goalkeeper - Scott Bain is now in the Scotland squad and was playing for Alloa last season. If we want to be a club that has a focus on youth development then guys like Scully need to play - he can't have done any more to deserve his shot.

So you're basically having a go at the guy for conducting too much consultation with fans? Right...
  4. How generous of you. And "show that he has some ideas"? I think he did that when he took us from second place with a shocking away record to champions who were near perfect for the rest of the season. But you're right, let's get Craig Levein in...

His crossing has been excellent this year. Don't let that stop you from criticising one of the best and most exciting players we've had in recent years though.

    Plan B

Quite right. Let's get the ball hoofed up the park, the way the game was meant to be played. What we need is a Kenny Brannigan-type player who can hit the ball out of play for 90 minutes, preferably over the roof of a stand.
  7. We would surely then fall behind if we were to not have this facility? Either way it can only be beneficial to us.
  8. Agreed. If there's one thing that I've learned from our success over the last year or so it's that our passing style of football doesn't work and that we need to hoof the ball up the pitch instead of all this namby-pamby "let's keep possesion" rubbish. Bring back Paddy Keogh.
  9. Agreed. The only way for our debt-ridden club to succeed is to build a stand for nobody to sit in. .
  10. Down with this sense, logic and optimism. Didn't you realise this has been the worst, most scandalous summer in the history of our club because we haven't released a DVD and because for two matches we won't be in the North Stand?
  11. And that we desperately need McGuigan back to lead the attack, right?
  12. Ahh, I see. So you aren't trying to infer, without any evidence, that he took money from the club. How subtle of you, I must have missed it.
  13. Talking about someone using the club to line their own pockets may not be slander, but it's a bit of a pishy thing to say on a public forum when there's absolutely no evidence for it.
  14. The Jackie Husband is a fantastic stand, but it's far too big for our needs and leaves the whole stadium lop-sided. Let's be realistic, we will average around 4000 this year if we are lucky, and that will probably always be so. We have no need for one stand that can hold 6000.
