  1. They collect outside the ground before every home game.
  2. You've bored me into submission.
  3. Over the moon with that result. The goal being chopped off could have work 9ne of two ways. It thankfully rallied us and Banzo' s introduction was a masterstroke. Lifted the crowd and gave the team a second wind. Bell: assured. Great save down to the bottom corner in the second half. Should have come for the long ball. I've forgotten about Cerny. Elliott. Great going forward, played a superb ball down the wing in the first half and had some great crosses, especially the one for Storey at the back post. Defensively he doesn't look fully fit. Getting too close to the winger too often. Keown: solid no frills display. Did h8s job well. McGinty: becoming an absolute mountain with every game. Throws himself at everything. Played some beautiful balls out to the right wing. Penrice: gave the ball away cheaply, but looked very Taylor Sinclair like, going forward when he drops the shoulder. Ntambwi: broke up everything in the middle getting between the man and the ball. Slack passing because of fitness, once he's fit he will boss this league. Slater: a gem of a find from Archie. Spittal: apart from one lovely through ball in the second half, contributed nothing of note. Erskine: everything came off for him in the first half, drove the team forward and a great finish. Tired in the second half. Storey: infuriating and mesmerising. He will tear full backs apart with his pace in this league, but his finishing is so shit at times. Would love to see him start scoring. Doolan: nowhere near the movement Storey offers through the middle, but such an intelligent player with a sublime first touch. First class finish for the goal that should have stood. Banzo: Tears welled up as he came on the park. We've really misses him. Controlled the game and moved the ball with great pace. That's why Archie showed faith in him. Melbourne: looked bloody brilliant on the right wing. So many positives to take away from that.
  4. If you think positivity is a two way street, then you really don't get football or the role of the fan. If you will only be positive, once you have seen something you deem to be a positive, coming out the Club, then I think May be football isn't for you. If you look at the club you purport to support, and can not see one single positive thing, then I feel sorry for you. You must be absolutely horrendous company, at the game!
  5. Glad you've judged them so early in the season. Let's hope your positivity rubs off on the team.
  6. If the rumours going about are true and we were really close to getting Shankland, there's no doubt feelings would be different. But even without him, we have a ridiculously good standard of attacking players for this level and as fans we should be excited to see them play together. Get Coulibaly on the park and well, we should be unplayable in the opposition half. I was really impressed with Storey through the middle v Falkirk. Much better movement than Doolan, we just need the others around him to attack the space he creates, with late runs into the box. I'm not at all concerned about the attacking side of things and certainly wouldn't describe it as rudderless, with an off form Doolan.
  7. It doesn't seem that long ago we were in the First Division with a squad we had put together with university students, lower league players, juniors and squad players from the top tier. Not sure how that ended up?
  8. What have I said, that you agree with?
  9. When do you think you will be able to move on and accept him as an established right back?
  10. We have a worse squad than the one Dick Campbell left behind?
  11. So, within half an hour, we've established they aren't having a laugh and might be obliged to do it, so can't do away with the awards? On top of that, a player who got a MOTM despite only being on the park for 20 minutes of a game, isn't in the running.
  12. I don't think "stand out" is the criteria. I think you just need to be our best player. Not seen the nominees but I'd imagine Fitzpatrick and Slater are in the running.
  13. Considering theres been two victories this month, what should the criteria be?
  14. You've come to the right place. Seems there's plenty on here willing to take a punt on the eventual outcome.
  15. Like old school 4-4-2 players? Maybe the game has evolved, formations have evolved and players roles have become more specific. Are box to box midfielders harder to find?
  16. Only strip change I remember, around that time was away at Brechin in the Cup.
  17. It's never been confirmed how much it was. Any value suggested is just a guess.
  18. Where has it been said we got 450k for Liam?
  19. Seems like only a few days since the Mods were again asking for folk to stop the personal abuse. How time flies.
  20. Finished at this level according to some "experts", on here.
  21. Was he selling tat from a stall outside? #itsnoteasy getting another club.
  22. Good question. Why pay 20 quid for dinner when I can eat in the house.
