For those travelling to Tynecastle for the cup final, the club is running supporters buses.

I see the benefits of academy players as basically twofold. Bringing 2 or 3 players through each season reduces the need to sign players. It also gives us assets to sell on. We can argue how successful or not we are doing that but it also shows potential recruits that (1) there's a track record of academy graduates making it to the 1st team and (2) that leads to them being in the 'shop window' which can lead to moves to bigger clubs.
All this needs to be set against the cost of running the academy but that's a separate debate!
Great results yesterday and today. Graham seems to be a natural motivator as well as a good coach and he comes over well in interviews. Will definitely be heading to Tynecastle for the final.
So far so good in horrendous conditions. 1-0 up Hibs down to 10 players. Thistle denied a stonewall penalty, a decision that even Wullie Collum would be embarrassed about.
I'd go further and make a yellow card 10 mins in the sin bin 2nd one would be a red like in rugby. Players would think twice about risking stupid bookings for kicking the ball away or dissent.
If we are going far flung CS Maritimo in Madeira would be my choice. Cracking 10k all seater stadium close to Funchal town centre, cheap tickets (€15-€25) for most games and the option to have a beer. Oh, and the weather is great all year round.
If the worst happened and Thistle were no more I couldn't see myself going to watch another senior team but would probably go to some of the junior teams locally. Being in Fife there's plenty to choose from.
I've a soft spot for a couple of non league teams in England so could end up having a few weekends away.
I feel naming (or renaming) a part of the stadium doesnt do justice to what McParland achieved as a player and manager I'd be supportive of a statue placed outside the JHS near the entrance to hospitality. Appreciate there's the possibility of it being damaged if it's outside (as opposed to somewhere inside the stadium), but any tribute needs to be easily seen by anyone coming to Firhill.
