Well from what i am hearing we have very little chance of keeping him past his initial loan so think he will be one of the players out to allow an in. I don't remember him being player of the year in the Championship, i do remember him coming in for criticism for his shitebaggedness though and as pointed out he is still that weak player and was never one that was up for the battle when the going got tough.

Nah Spittal is weak, i would send him back in January and try get a more direct midfielder. We need a younger Erskine who will run at defences and have them on the backfoot. Spittal is too tippy tappy and girly for that.

Quite clear to see who your big team is by that post! Why do we as Thistle fans need to give due respect to a Celtic goalkeeper just because he played a few games on loan for us? To hell with him and anyone else who has been a bit part in our downfall through the years. If he had come to Firhill and been the next Buffon and achieved something with us of note then fair play but he is just yet another non entity who has waltzed in and back out the doors over the years.

It is not for me to solve the problems but i believe the problems start at the top and work right down to the bottom. Chairman and board are useless (tbh board are anonymous and we have went from knowing who was involved in the club to non entities that don't do much). Britton has been around too long and the whole culture of the club is too cosy. Need some hard nosed business people at the top that take no shit and let everyone below them know the minimum expectations and that failure will not be tolerated.

The grants were £10 million to lower leagues, that means £2.5 million is missing somewhere and i doubt that is going to Lowland/Highland teams. Doncaster got his fingers in the till? Surely something like £450k Championship, £200k League 1, £100k League 2 would have been more sensible. How they get a £350k drop from Championship to League 1 i will never know, especially when there is only a £50k drop down to League 2. Crooked SPFL as always.

One thing i will say from watching and reading comments from people on Facebook is DO NOT BUY DUNNOTAR REPLICA KIT! Scammers!

Academy seems to be of no benefit to the club, the players don't get a chance. They become apprentices and get loaned out never to be heard of again and released at end of their contracts. Even now when we cannot find enough for the bench they are not invited along even for experience. The women's team is also of no benefit to the club yet yet gets a higher vantage point than our academy that is supposed to bring through players but doesn't. Both should be kyboshed and focus put on the 1st team where the real bread and butter is.

Chairman will be replaced overtime - i would like to believe that to be the case but the wet willies we have as fans who wish to take over accepted her back and would no doubt crown her again when shares are transferred.
