  1. I started the poznan with my 2 mates and my sister, it would have been quality if the full stand had started it.full credit to their support though, i know folk joke about ' the best fans in the world' etc, at times it felt like a league match with the atmosphere and the sellick fans constantly singing. i was walking down the road towards the student flats and couldnt believe the amount of fans waiting to get in.hopefully it may fund an additional player this season which might make the difference.
  2. cheers, it was ruined with her coming on at the end though, she's a bit too overdressed there sitting next to jim shyte.
  3. three pre season games so far, lost 2, drawn 1, scored 1 lost 4. this is going to be a great season!
  4. im in tears reading this post man what a laugh. we've had animal cruelty, folk refusing to shop at greaves, folk wanting to stop supporting thistle, folk having a shouting match about being vegetarians, talk about 'isinglass' or 'finings' that are used in beer making, the talk of assasinating fellow fans characters and comparing jags fans to old firm fans, next we'll be talking about frikin sharks with frikin lasers attached to their frikin heads.(no animal cruelty meant there) as dr evil would say riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhttttttt
  5. very good news, hope he gets a good reception tomorrow night, you would think he's maybe had 1 or 2 offers elsewhere from 1st division teams but has decided to come back to us.awra best conrad son, giesa goal the morra night.craigans testimonial or not, I would love to see us beat Mwell, hate they ********!
  6. I was watching the sport bit on bbc news and it was just embarassing to be honest, the rangers and celtic representatives had to go up and sign a document agreeing to the action they are going to take. that wont stop these knuckle dragging old firm fans singing these sectarian songs im afraid!
  7. im never using this forum again, I went to reply there and an advertisement for 'the best lobster in Glasgow' came up, they get put into boiling water while still alive! screw we are thistle I'll never be back!
  8. is it just me or at 53 seconds in this video does the guy say ' kiddie fiddler'!
  9. yeah i was surprised we let big mcgeough go, the few games that i seen he looked a good player and a big guy aswell. in saying that jamie campbell's best game for us was at right back/right wing back at falkirk when we won 3-2.
  10. yeah me and my bro went down in january for the man utd vs stoke game. we had booked via thomas cook which included a nights stay in the 'thistle ' hotel aswell. you shouldnt have any problems getting tickets if they are playing norwich, just check the website to see when tickets go on general sale. the stadium tour and museum are superb, what a stadium. i dont think they do the tours on matchdays though.
  11. raith, ayr or livvy at home we do me fine.ross county would be a good day out but i wouldnt fancy going there with adams first game back in charge and them signing a few half decent players. ayr away on the first day didnt produce a good result 2 seasons ago.raith have lost quite a few guys and wont be as strong this year.
  12. would rather see burns, mcgrotty and fraser get a chance ahead of any run of the mill journeyman, unless we sign pat clarke ofcourse
  13. lets hope this is a goodyear for thistle
  14. that would be a good idea, when we are attacking the away end have it on full pelt, then put it in reverse when shooting towards the city end
  15. yeah a girl i used to work with from livvy knew him and said he was a tadger
  16. I would have preferred the strip being mainly red with yellow pin stripes.
  17. messi, rooney, ronaldo, xavi, iniesta. once these guys see a big name like rowser committing his future to the club they might think about signing! well chuffed rowser has signed, we could do with getting robbo a deal especially as the gaffer is hanging up his boots.
  18. was it swansea fans who always used to have a thistle flag at their games in the old terracing or am I imagining it? there was old footage of a swansea game im sure and you could see the old thistle badge hanging up in the stand.
  19. blyth spartans have it confirmed on their website that are we playing them down there on july 2nd but nothing confirmed by thistle yet.
  20. was on the trainline having a look at prices, theres a train that goes from glasgow-edinburgh-newcastle-cramlington that gets in at 11.30, and theres a train that goes from glasgow-morpeth-cramlington thats gets in at 11.57.best price was around £35 return but dont want to book tickets if its not confirmed.
