  1. Thankfully Dundee and Dunfermline are nowhere near Inverness.
  2. I think at times we have ideas above our station, fans and management/players alike, but our form and performances have been dire since Christmas. That's the reality.
  3. I wasn't there yesterday so don't know when the boos etc. started, but if you lose 3-1 at home to the team (formerly) bottom of the league and have now lost five games on the bounce, I think you have every right to boo. I don't even see what the fuss is about. It's very, very hard to be encouraging after this slump.
  4. Does he not have our highest assists this season? Perhaps even the whole league? Laughable that people are wanting Higginbotham in before him; someone who yesterday got his first assist in six months.
  5. The club asked him to. He had offers during the summer from various clubs but chose to stay here because, supposedly, Archie and Shaggy apologised for not playing him and promised to start him more often. That happened but he's fallen back out of the frame again. He shouldn't have tweeted that but you can understand his frustration that this promise has been broken, and he could be playing regularly somewhere else. I don't think he'll play for us again. Maybe go out on loan.
  6. Its already at the football though. It's more than easily accessible before and after the game, and the 1hr45 does often work as a sober-up period, but I see little difference between that and going to see a film. Why not ban it from the Grosvenor after the 50 Shades massacre yesterday? I understand that as a country we find it hard to go for "two pints" and not end up home at 3am covered head-to-toe in kebab sauce, but it's shown to be effective in England/Europe and I feel it's silly to suggest it's not even worth a shot here.
  7. Last summer coming home from Amsterdam, the passport control guy looked at my passport photo, then back at me, and asked "are you a member of Al-Qaeda?" and I laughed nervously and declined. Apart from that, I love having a beard.
  8. But on the other hand, is it much of a hardship not to have a couple of hours off from eating pies? I don't see the problem with having a beer at half-time, from a social perspective and not just to get steaming. It's unlikely that anyone would have more than one pint in a 15 minute sitting and it would hopefully be regulated in such a fashion that if you were drunk, you wouldn't get served. I've been to several games in Germany where beer is sold throughout the game and, if anything, we never had as much to drink before the game, instead choosing to have a few whilst watching the football and I much preferred it that way.
  9. I don't know the figures we were offering but Hamilton are willing to pay him more. Perhaps we didn't offer a significant increase on his current contract (where I'd assume he wasn't on a lot like the majority of our players last season) and Hamilton feel he's more valued than we do. No idea. I wouldn't be too worried about it though. No idea why Rangers pulled out, if they were interested at all, but I was told St. Johnstone and Hamilton.
  10. Lawless to Hamilton. St. Johnstone were interested but due to their lofty league position don't want him any more as they can afford better players. Reason he declined Thistle's contract was due to money, and Hamilton are willing to offer him more than we were.
  11. G4S asked some people to move from the stairwell but that's all the bother we had.
  12. Might be wrong here, but I'm sure it costs less for a cinema to press play than it does for a football club to put on a game.
  13. Yup. Thought it was bad at the time but that's what happens. Paid it and had a wonderful time. Donate a fiver to the club then.
  14. The fog game last year against Cowdenbeath was £15 for adults on the day or £8 for a kid OAP. The re-arranged game was £12/£6. What was the reaction on the forum then?
  15. Did they? Weird that. The re-arranged fixture hasn't been played yet.
