  1. Osman misses Dundee in January, not this match.
  2. I'm not really fussed if it's allocated seating or not. It would just be nice if St Mirren and their stewards could be consistent in applying the rules. Some stewards were saying sit where you like and others were saying it was allocated seating. It's easy to see why this ends up in problems and folk being asked to move. St Mirren making an arse of the simplest of tasks meant some folk at 1 of the games last season were still being moved by stewards at near enough half time.
  3. It's been a couple of years now I think, they do keep tinkering with the suspension rules most seasons which makes it difficult to keep up. Balatoni and Bannigan getting sent off v Dundee Utd in the league last season is an example of this rule change. Balatoni was sent off for 2 yellows and played in the next game, the cup game v Aberdeen, yet Bannigan was sent off for a straight red for what was deemed serious foul play and missed the Aberdeen game (and possibly 1 after it due to his disciplinary record, I'm not sure). The red last night will have been for serious foul play going by the laws of the game.
  4. Not true, bans now cross competitions for violent conduct, serious foul play or spitting at an opponent.
  5. You seem very odd. Always quick to shout down others yet don't bother to support the team yourself despite constantly moaning at others for their criticism. It's very easy to snipe at others yet no bother your arse to go and support the team yourself.
  6. He made his debut in January 2007 so it's really 7 and a half seasons and he has made 142 appearances. 06/07 - 13 appearances in the Belgian top division at the age of 18 (relegated in the relegation playoff) 07/08 - 23 appearances in the 2nd tier 08/09 - 32 appearances in the 2nd tier 09/10 - 25 appearances in the 2nd tier (promoted) 10/11 - 13 appearances in the top tier 11/12 - 22 appearances in the top tier 12/13 - 9 appearances in the top tier 13/14 - 5 appearances in the top tier He broke into their team quite young then they got relegated and it allowed him the chance to play regularly. He continued to play fairly regularly when they got promoted until the last 2 seasons where he missed the first 6 months of the 12/13 season with a knee injury and then the new manager Stanley Menzo would appear to have left him out completely last season bar a few games. Since Bannigan has been brought up Frans had 106 appearances by the time he was Bannigan's age, Bannigan has made 132 (I think, might be a few games out either way) so there's not much in it as it's the last couple of seasons where Frans' appearances have dropped off.
  7. If you replace Hibs with Dundee and Hearts with Hamilton (based on Hibs finishing the higher of Hibs/Hearts and Dundee finishing the higher of Dundee/Hamilton) then it's 10 points this season compared to 4 last season based on the 1st games of last season v each side. Ross County (h) 3pts this season - 1pt last season Dundee/Hibs (a) 1 - 1 Hamilton/Hearts (h) 0 - 1 Aberdeen (a) 0 - 0 Inverness (h) 3 - 1 St Mirren (h) 0 - 0 Kilmarnock (a) 0 - 0 Motherwell (h) 3 - 0
  8. Does anyone know if the benefit of the dowloadable matchday programme is ready to be launched as of the next home game? I'd sign up for the 2nd option just for that as I'd quite like to be able to keep a digital copy as I don't always manage to pick one up at the game but that's the only benefit I'd really want it for so don't want to pay if it's not happening any time soon.
  9. The club has Martin Hardie scouting future opposition according to the man himself on the radio last week and that wasn't mentioned by the club at all in any official capacity. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that the club now also have people looking at potential signings without fans knowing about it. Although I don't really see what difference it would make if we signed the likes of Seaborne for example on the recommendation of Pressley to Archie rather than us having sent someone down to watch him play for the team Pressley manages.
  10. There is a loophole regarding some cross-border transfers. Motherwell exploited it in the past with Chris Porter and Chris Humphrey.
  11. Hendry played on trial v Rangers u20s, not Sunderland.
  12. The rule hasn't gone too far and hasn't changed for some time, it's pundits and commentators not knowing the rules. It is only violent conduct if the player uses "excessive force or brutality" yet people who should know better seem to think if you raise your hands at all then it's a red for violent conduct. Based on the laws of the game I think an appeal would be successful. The club may not think it's worthwhile though as Gallacher is an able replacement.
  13. Is he organising the PTFC golf day?
  14. Thistle lined up (roughly) Duggan Higgy Craigen Fraser Osman Trialist ----------------------------------- O'Donnell Keenan (I think, possibly another trialist) McMillan Balatoni Fox Doolan came on for Duggan at HT and Muirhead for Balatoni. Then Stevenson, Lawless, McDaid, Wilson and Elliot came on at various points. Edited to add: The trialist was not Mustoe or Parsons. He looked like the guy linked from Wigan but I couldn't guarantee if it was him or not, he looked much better than Mustoe or Parsons whoever he was. Rangers had pretty much a full team out. Bell, Wallace, Mohsni, 1 of the new centre halfs, Foster, Black, Law, McLeod, Miller, Boyd and someone else I didn't recognise
