  1. Red pudding and q visit to the New Goth pub. Could be a good day out. I'd rather win the league game but feel we can win both, yada yada
  2. Could take the gloss off of our Scottish cup final appearance
  3. Are semi final takings pooled like the two major cup competitions. I would like to add it to the Tennents sixes trophy. Don't care who we get, bit if its away to Arbroath or Queens I'd prefer a Saturday if possible.
  4. From the teams we have beaten Pars and Rovers seem more likely than the likes of Falkirk and Livi,to challenge at the top. Both teams that have taken points off the perma-diddies of Greenock.
  5. Nothing wrong with confidence, especially with the way our team are playing. There may be dips over the season but we will win more than we draw and lose this season which will have us in the championship mix come May. Barring injury crises. Tell all the folk you know, we're top of the league and the auld firm are no Winning games and good football is the ultimate selling point for a football club. I'd be disappointed with a crowd less than 2,500 on Saturday so grab a loved one, friend or wean(that you know) along to the game
  6. I expect us to win this fixture, but we will have to continue with the team's current drive, commitment and skill to achieve a win. Wee bit of pressure in that if they win they get within three points. I think the team and manager can cope with that. They have beaten the teams round about them and lost to the Pars(still my promotion favourites) and the Ton who are mid-table dross at best. No score line prediction but we should win, especially if Doolaninho or Son of Joe is back. Full 90 wouldn't do Linford any harm mind and he might grab a goal or two. Forza Thistle!
  7. I am the Law-less - Anthrax Goes with our current blurple number as well. Even pays homage to the former auld firm rivals, "In the cursed earth where the mutants dwell, there is no law just a living hell..."
  8. Pie stall was pretty well organized. I nipped down at half time and there seemed plenty available for half time. My sickly bashed steak number was swapped for an acceptable one no problem.
  9. Hope the big man is available for selection next week. Perhaps we could play "Son of the father", by Chicory Tip after his goals? Hope Doolaninho is back next week as well, although a 90 minutes against the Cowden Family won't do Linford's progression any harm
  10. Nah from half way line to the right hand side of the stand. We had some flags at the corners.
  11. Has a Scottish, indeed any club won their first five games in their away strip ?
  12. I saw that Thistle were 11/8 to win. Buying money at the moment. Almost a shame I don't gamble Great football
  13. One team in Glasgow Pleasing......
  14. We win when we want, We win when we want, We're Partick Thistle, We win when we want Great performance against the best team we've faced. I reckon we are playing the best football I've seen from any team in div 1 for.....ever? Could have been four but a win is a win. Bring on the Cowden family Lawless was best of a good bunch. Christie put in a shift and can only benefit from game time. Thomson is a shit ref but he let Shug off with about 6 fouls before he booked him
  15. He plays for Partick Thistle, He scores when he wants.....
  16. He kicks who he wants, He kicks who he wants, He's Shuggie Murray he kicks who he wants
  17. I don't like the current home top. Send it to Cliftonhill and we can carry on dispensing goals in our Judge Dredd like tops.
  18. Interesting stat, imo. It would appear that this games is more of a test for Livi's promotion credential than ours. Hopefully we can sucker them on the break and seal another three points
  19. Or even get the bar staff to book you a taxi
  20. Blue and purple are the colours we love, The colours of Partick Thistle football club
  21. Not a bad day for the footie, bit windy which can affect both teams. However I'm confident due to Paton and Shug-meister allowing our attacking midfielders to get forward at every opportunity. Also McNeil in goals so hopefully we can get him flapping by forcing a few corners and free-kicks in the Livi half. No predictions but if we play like we did in Dunfermline I feel we can get another well deserved three points. Forza Thistle!
  22. Saw the Running-jag at a game recently. Either start of the season or end of last season. Probably does a lot of races or normal stuff on a Saturday. Stephen is his name.
  23. Livingston's ground is a decent venue for football. Taking the car or maybe supporters bus. Any ideas for best places to park if going through?
