We also seem low in numbers on the coaching staff. At training we have Dools, Paul McDonald, a fitness coach and Kenny Arthur who looks after the keepers. I wouldn't see much scope for new players unless we move a few on.

With regards to thread title noticed about 10 guys in new Thistle tops in pub after game. Turns out they were German sailors who take in a game when in port. (Had thought of the Rangers, but no tickets.) They all bought a top and tickets, shame about the result. Noticed quite a few new punters around my section, including a certain Charlie Mulgrew and his kids. We always seem to fall flat when we get a decent crowd in?

I see despite the boardroom machinations, the club has renewed or added 3 new sponsors in recent days. Good to see the staff are continuing to work business as usual.

Very pleased with that performance. Kept the lead until half-time, should probably have extended it. Played really well second half. Didn't go gung-ho but kept on the front foot where we could and reaped the rewards. We did to the Pars what Arbroath did to us last week. Made the opposition look bad through a mix of good play and endeavour and got the result. Dunfermline probably won't play that badly again for a while but they got schooled today. Credit to Dools for taking the young lads out of the firing line and Robbo and Ngwenya showed up pretty well. We can take confidence into the Inverness game but we need to be up to the task for 90 minutes again. Decent crowd overall and a good turnout from the visitors. It isn't half an up and down experience following Thistle.

Thought the substitutions were a lot more thought out yesterday. Early days, so no point getting carried away. Good to see some well thought out changes in line-up. We have to remember this is a crazy league and next week feels like a different scenario entirely. I'd love if we can get the three points again.
