  1. Further to my previous post. FIFA Regulations (Article 20 of Regulations on the status and transfer of players) -Training Compensation. "Until the end of the calendar year of his 23rd birthday". To repeat - Kevin Nisbet is now 26 years old. We are due nothing from his transfer!
  2. We are on PLUMS. He is now 26 years old - beyond the age limit for us ( or anybody else) to qualify for a cut.
  3. The last 2 contributions are unbelievably less than helpful for a Jagsman in Japan (which both of you must know from previous posts by the guy).
  4. My reading is that this loan is to enable supporters to buy a stakeholding in the club. WE(PTFC supporters)ARE ALREADY MAJOR STAKEHOLDERS IN PARTICK THISTLE! So I do not think TJF are in the same position as Falkirk Supporters Society.
  5. Anybody got any info on referees for the final? Wondering if we can get the same guy as we had at Ochilview and Somerset Park come Sunday, or is he only good for Fridays?
  6. I absolutely hate that, just another example of falling educational standards. Here endeth my rant for today!
  7. M'Lady, if I wiz you I widnae listen!
  8. I would argue that we are not going to play in 2 games. After Firhill on Thursday it will "only be half-time". So surely there has to be consistency (re in my opinion the ABOMINABLE VAR) over 180 minutes. Just to expand the discussion, if we come out on top in the Play Off Final, we require to install VAR technology for the Premiership, another expense we can ill afford.
  9. I would prefer Kilmarnock to allow for a massive Jags support to attend on the Sunday 2nd leg.
  10. Just watch BBG. He's the last man (apart fae the goalie) to leave our penalty area after their corner. He then takes part in the build up and THEN, and THEN, and THEN. MAGIC!
  11. Can't identify any players but pretty sure the venue is Newlandsfield, therefore pre season v Pollok.
  12. I don't think Javeajag was referring to Firhill's capacity, more the potential numbers for Friday. By the way I am absolutely certain that the JHS Stand's capacity is 6,000 plus!
  13. Bloomin' 'eck (as the say in parts of England with which you might be familiar) Thank you for stating the bleedin' obvious (matters of which I was well aware). Maybe I should add that Duncan Ferguson was most likely there to scout for players to sign for his team who have just been relegated, suggesting the likelihood of the need to rebuild his squad for next season.
  14. You want havering? Try this. At Ochilview on Friday - Jim Goodwin (DU), Lee Bullen (Ayr U), Duncan Ferguson (Forest Green Rovers) and lastly Neil Lennon (Unemployed) but with possible past links to a certain W.Haughey. By the way I would not be surprised if Owen Coyle turns up at Dundee (as manager), not just walking up the road outside (as was often rumoured re Firhil and/or Maryhill Roads)!
  15. Interesting to see that on Friday tickets for the JLS can be purchased in person at the CW stand reception before the game. Maybe a lot of the younger guys can encourage some of their pals who aren't regulars to help swell the crowd.
  16. According to Wikipedia Ochilview has a capacity of 3,746 (???) with 626 seated. The stand had empty seats, even during the first half, and many more before the end! When you subtract the 10 seats we got and the seats occupied by other football managers and their family members and friends, then I reckon YES, there were less than 500 QParkers.
  17. Sorry AFK. Further research required to find the relevant gobbledygook for our situation. I think you have picked out the Pyramid Play-off rules involving Highland and Lowland league teams meeting the 42nd team in the SPFL.
  18. Owen Coyle post match interview bemoaning the deflection at our 4th goal - "that's the way our luck has been recently", or words to that effect. Short memory (their 2nd goal on Tuesday?). As for our 3 first half goals - I can't see where we got any breaks for them!
  19. How lucky were we to have one of Scotland's "top" referees officiating last night? Cannae see a blatant foul - but no' very good at telling the time (thankfully)!
  20. This reminds me of a wet day at Brockville. Because of the weather my pals and I decided to watch from the "Grandstand". At the turnstile a young guy (possibly not that young but a lot younger than me) had his backpack searched and a pint carton of milk was confiscated. A matter of seconds later after entering the "stadium" Bovril was purchased. The water must have reached boiling point seconds earlier. Question for "the powers that be" - Which is more likely to have caused serious physical injury in the event of an accident (or to have been used as a missile)?
  21. Of whom it has been said 3 - WHO? Have we suffered him before?
  22. Does that mean you're bringing 2 friends? The more the merrier!
  23. Watched the highlights on Jagzone (3 times). Who was that guy wearing number 8 who continually passed the ball forwards? According to the team sheet his name is Bannigan but as a regular reader of contributions to topics on this forum, according to some that guy only passes sideways and backwards, so it couldn't possibly have been him!
  24. My usual Sunday morning is to watch MOTD without knowing the Premier League scores from the Saturday. I watch on "catch up" to allow me to fast forward and avoid the "talking heads" punditry and analysis. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this morning. Just highlights and nothing else. What a lot of money the Beeb could save (licence payers/taxpayers money) if this was the norm.
  25. Maybe if there was VAR there widnae huv been a penalty!
