  1. Watched it again, and oops it was...think we got away with that as Graham was hidden behind Tomi...who was about to get booked later in the game until the ref realised he was hurt
  2. Did he mention how he couldn't believe how his keeper had stayed on the park after numerous warnings from the ref mainly for time wasting strangely and then only gets a yellow when he dives headfirst into a thistle player....would like to see that again as it didn't look to be offside at the time, so should have been a red and a penalty. On the potential offside from the nod on, was it a thistle head it came off of ???
  3. Long sleeve top for once looks better than the short sleeved 👍👍👍
  4. New shirt sponsor next season, so shirts would change in at least that way anyway
  5. So, without going into the wrongs or rights, and remembering there are two sides to every story. The recent news and releases could also be perceived as the old board knew about the projected loss, but had funds in place to cover most/all of it....but when they were ousted, strangely that money was not forthcoming which has left the big hole that's currently there.
  6. With about 340 of them from qp if I picked it up right......
  7. Can I suggest you change that remark, the clan signed someone who has confessed to having non consensual sex with someone, but he has never been found guilty in a court.
  8. Was a thoroughly enjoyable game, only spoiled by the ref and his assistant on the stand side with some of their bizarre decisions. Ever time a city player fell over they seemed to get a free kick and a yellow card for us, now some yellows were merited with some crunching tackles going in but there was a fair few that must have been for dissent, understandable given many of the decisions going against them. Considering the season and past city have have, it was difficult to tell the difference between the two at times, the way city played, and the players they have reminded me in some ways of livi when the men's team played them in the play offs a few seasons back. All about height, strength and trying to exert physical dominance. The thistle team weren't having any of it, and for spells controlled the game well and when not in control worked hard as a team with a good way of playing and an obvious game plan. The plan nearly worked, a couple of set pieces for the first two goals seem to be a bit of an Achilles heel, and then caught on the break for the third. Some real skill and grit from the thistle players, that showed a real team spirit and willingness to cover for each other, a well drilled and set up team imho. Only other comment I had was about the pitch, not sure if it needed watered but there were quite a few times when players got the ball stuck under their feet as it wasn't moving as fast as they expected it to.
  9. No the release says he's staying on the jags foundation as a board member.
  10. Slightly shaky start from him, but finished off on a high with the penalty performance
  11. I doubt it, most clubs at that level I would assume are paying either private medical facilities to do the tests, or they could be getting another club to process the tests on their equipment...if they are doing tests that is. I seem to recall it was c£30k a machine when Ross county got one
  12. That's why clubs have to pay for testing, and why some clubs bought test machines themselves so they don't use testing at the expense of the general population, as it's separate to what is available to everyone
  13. If only someone would be kind enough to give clubs some money to cover the costs of testing........
  14. I suspect it'll be much simpler than that, any team unable to fullfil a fixture as they are banned from playing will have a 0-3 scoreline put against them and they will be removed from the competition. Any teams remaining that cannot play, will simply give a bye to the next team they are drawn against in a subsequent round and thus be removed from the competition as well.
  15. Not bad interview and as usual he spoke well, finally showing a bit of an understanding that some things could have been done differently. I did notice that when it came to decisions or situations where things didn't work out as expected he was talking about 'we' and not 'I' trying to make out not everything was his fault.
  16. They were the irregularities.....and 93 with the pisswater 6s win
  17. Do physios not tend to treat the players when they are injured rather then cause their injuries though.....so not sure I entirely see the link
  18. Not the case for schools in scotland. Only those in close contacts, such as sitting close for prolonged period have to self isolate. There is no requirement for an entire class to isolate anymore, unless they all fit in the need to isolate requirements. The rest of the family of a child with no symptoms do not have to self isolate either. This was changed from the very early days of schools going back when it was required. If that child then develops symptoms, then anyone in their household needs to self isolate.
  19. Not sure I would classify selling or gifting facilities under their ownership to other, generally charities or local groups as selling off the silver. I believe this is being done on facilities that do not make a profit, with all leisure trusts, as most council's now have their leisure services as an at arm's length company/charity they aren't in a position to keep open/staffing/developing facilities at present that don't make any money....another harsh reality that is hitting home due to many of them having virtually zero income for c6 months, and no sign that income streams will return to normal anytime soon unfortunately.
  20. No idea who, but the park was ran by Glasgow life was it not, they are trying to pass on as many facilities as they can to other organisations due to the financial situation they see themselves in due to the current situation. So if they are given the chance to take on the running of a facility, why not.....
  21. I can bring my bit back if we want to try and rebuild it ???
  22. £10 to view the game https://www.stmirren.com/all-news/3787-st-mirren-v-partick-thistle-exclusively-live-on-st-mirren-tv
  23. Oops, sure when I first read it it said game was evening, ah well, glad I'm wrong, that'll be an good view this afternoon hopefully
