  1. At least it's good to know that he thinks good things about PTFC. Who knows what might happen.
  2. Sorry, but I could never ever support DU ! My third most-despised team.
  3. I wanted to give my first three thoughts for the name "Blair," but as the first had to do with despicable acts and lies, I decided not to go there. .
  4. If he is better than before and still has the legs, then perhaps there would be a place for him if we are still in the Championship next year. But if we go up, we need much better than that.
  5. I thought he was consistently awful when he was with us, and I wouldn't expect him to have improved at ICT.
  6. Right to left: John Hansen, Nobby Clark. Not sure who's next......
  7. Yes, and he seems happy to take part in Hall of Fame events and such like. What does he really think? Surely a podcast crying out there, or have I missed it?
  8. So much awe-inspiring material there, I'll limit my comment (actually not football-related) to this: "The Prisoner:" Maybe the best ever series in the history of television.
  9. I'm for sure not looking forward to a third consecutive failure to win promotion through the play-offs. Would that be a first for any team? Would we ever be in a position to call any other team "bottlers"?
  10. I thought Airdrie played some good football in the first half, whereas we were generally losing at the first touch. The second half was another story! No "failures" in the team, but special mentions for Mitchell, Milne, Muirhead, McBeth, McInroy. And so as to spread it beyond the "Ms," Robinson, Fitpatrick and Graham. Good entertainment , a decent crowd, and sunshine!
  11. Great burst forward from Bannigan and no checking back, but instead a superb forward pass! And Ricco showing again what we hope to see more of from him.
  12. Nifty footwork, nifty turn, nifty shot exactly where it needed to go!
  13. Good "scavenging" goal by BBG, picking up the scraps. I might be wrong, but I get the feeling that in olden times (e.g. when Roughie was playing), keepers would routinely clutch those kinds of shots to their chest. But now they make little effort to do that, opting to just block and parry most of the time, with some disastrous consequences.
  14. Brilliant pass to Fitzy by McInroy! And Fitzy did the rest perfectlly.
  15. Usually with narrowing confidence intervals as the season's normal distribution of scores progresses.
  16. Back row, left to right: Tommy Rae, Charlie Smith, Ian Dick(?)., Bobby Gray, Donnie McK, Brian Ralston, Jackie Campbell, ?, ?, John Gibson, Bobby Houston Front row, left to right: Jackie Husband, Bobby Gray Snr, Jim Mullen (?), Archie Lochrie (?), ?, ?, Eddie the Pru Man.
  17. Will be wearing this for tomorrow's game at Kirkcaldy.
  18. Great read! Would love BBG to keep banging them in all the way to the Premiership.
  19. Time to give Zander some consecutive starts.
  20. I was wondering what a Hogan was, thinking that it might be own goals by Jags players! Not that I'm aware of any OG's by Joe in his 12-year spell at Thistle, his only senior club.
  21. Bad news for Stevie and for us. Got to make the best of what we have; here's hoping that the players and coaches can produce some positives out of this, and that we supporters will give them even more encouragement. Here's hoping for a full recovery for Stevie, who's been great for us.
