Jaggernaut
Liking this new Labour guy No liking the oil crisis That's my topics that interest me at the moment Corbyn actually seems to be what Labour used to be/should be about. No surprise that the long knives are already out, hoping to get rid of him before he can do anything to get Labour back on the right track. Norgethistle
The guy is everything a socialist MP should be. Only MP (including MSP's) who doesn't claim expenses. Labour are panicking about him, Tories appear to be and surprisingly the socialist SNP don't seem to keen on him. There is something very similar with him and Jimmy Reid I think he's great and exactly what UK politics needs
Blackpool Jags
It won't come as much of a shock to anybody that I voted for Jeremy. I've met him on two occasions over the past 25 years or so and heard him speak on a number of occasions. He's absolutely the real deal in my opinion. As Norge rightly says, he's what a socialist MP should be: a champion of the working class (as most people would define the term); a tireless campaigner for issues of social justice, anti-austerity, anti-corruption; and an end to privilege and patronage bestowed upon the ruling class etc etc. I loved the way when the arch war criminal, Tony WMD Blair, starting fitting and hurling insults like "morons" at Corbyn supporters, Jeremy, when asked for a response, calmly retorted, "I think Tony's got some more pressing things to worry about, like the Chilcott Inquiry." Class.
