Big Col
ICT at Firhill to open. But then a week off, as Sellick can use an opt out clause. Wtf is that all about? if they want to play Inter Milan then do it outside of the season. Fecking joke.
MonehJags
Aberdeen, Celtic and Sevco we play once at home. All arguably bring the biggest away support. I don't think the board would have budgeted for that. We will need to finish in the Top 6 to maximise gate receipts

Allowing this to happen makes a total mockery of our league, and is this not the second time since we have came back up that this has affected us

potty trained
all three Dundee games are Midweek. Seems a bit odd.
macca
August is not the kindest of months fixture wise. It makes the ICT game a must win with Celtic and Aberdeen Away followed by Hearts at Home.

Plus ca change!!
Gary Peebles Tackle
I don't understand why we're not playing Celtic on NYE. Surely our longer time in the league should give us precedence over Sevco? I know it's important really (Celtic's friendly annoys me more as it is the second time we've been the fall guys), but I'd like the league to explain why it's the case. JAGSMAN1968
Hopefully I won't have to go to mordor on april 15th as we will have secured a top 6 place by then!
BowenBoys
A bit defeatist on the os. Written off our chances of top six already. "Our first midweek clash of the season sees us make the first of two midweek trips to Dens Park and each of Rangers and Celtic will only visit Firhill once next campaign. The Govan side are first up on the 26th November before the Celtic Park outfit visit on the 10th of December."
David Brent
I've said it before but if you want to postpone a league game for a glamour friendly then you should be forfeiting the points for that game.
MonehJags
Why dont we organise a 'glamour friendly' of our own?

BowenBoys
Why dont we organise a 'glamour friendly' of our own? That's a great idea. A charity match. Shame the money-grabbing ba5tards* *on that note, see Player Sponsorship 2016/17. I'm back
Duke Gekantawa
August is not the kindest of months fixture wise. It makes the ICT game a must win with Celtic and Aberdeen Away followed by Hearts at Home. Wow! First game of the season is already a "must win". Hope we don't lose it or my season ticket was a waste of money!

Lenziejag
I think we would have expected only one visit from Celtic and Aberdeen before the split. We do have 2 home games vs Hearts though. I guess the only imbalance is that there is only one from Rangers - but maybe the SPFL don't expect them to make top 6, or they do expect us to. ian_mac
Good hard hitting statement from the club. The incompetence of Doncaster knows no bounds. How he's managed to stay in a job this time is surely one of the most astounding episodes in Scottish Football history
