Third Lanark
Attended the funeral today of Scottish Football historian Bob Laird. Bob worked in the Scottish Football museum and although Third Lanark was his great love, he had a huge passion for Scottish football in general which was evident when I met up with him regularly- would recall with great fondness the legendary Jags players he saw play against the HiHi such as Johnny McKenzie, Dave McParland and many others. An absolute gentleman and it's fitting that there will shortly be a Third Lanark exhibition at the football museum in Hampden in his honour

jaggy
That's sad. I met him when I viewed his house in EK in 1989 when it was for sale. We had a right good chat about Thirds & Jags and I saw some of his memorabilia. We didn't buy at that time. RIP Bob
