AlgarveJag
So its that time of year, according to the Daily Ranger, when we get to the business end of the season. Their numbers are irrelevant and we have discussed them here in previous threads about what the magic 'safe' number is or what guarantees top 6 but I was interested in the Poll statistic which at 11:14 showed that the Daily Rangers readers have faith that we will NOT be involved in the battle to avoid the trap door. Not a single vote cast for the Jags to finish in last place. ICT 54%, Accies 15% and Motherwell 11%. http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/how-many-points-your-team-9762719 (hope that works)
AlgarveJag
I can't paste the image so the rest of the numbers were... Ross County 9% Dundee 6% Kilmarnock. 5% Partick Thistle 0% Can we just accept the result of the poll now please?
Albert's Ghost
I reckon there will be one very lucky and relieved club making top-6 with around 36 points. All teams in the bottom-6 will be fighting for their lives.
lady-isobel-barnett
I reckon there will be one very lucky and relieved club making top-6 with around 36 points. ...and that only emphasises the inanity of the split. Ensured safety by picking up as little as a shade over a point a game.
allyo
Is this maybe just because the Daily Record doesn't know we exist?
ian_mac
40 points for safety at season's end. If we can reach 40 points BEFORE the split then we have a decent chance of top 6. Basing this on recent seasons.
Dick Dastardly
I predict that the team finishing 6th will have the fewest points in the league ot the end of the season
Graemei
I'd love to see how we did in the top six when the pressure was off.
scotty
I'd love to see how we did in the top six when the pressure was off. I'd settle for four 0-0 draws and a 0-4 away to St J.
