MonehJags
This a great news. The Weir's have given us so much already. The platform they and the club have built over the last few years has been truelly incredible. The good news just keeps flooding in
King Kenny
The way the money has/is being spent makes a huge difference as well. No large sums being splashed on journeymen for a quick fix like Gretna, Livingston etc. A training complex where all our teams can train, eat, learn under the one roof will be an extremely positive platform going forward. It won't hurt when attracting players as well.
Mr Bunny
Also: ""The money we currently spend on facilities around Glasgow will be used to service our lease and costs at the new ground." So it would appear we will be paying not much more than we are already but will have access whenever we need it with everything we have currently across 3 facilities all in the one place. ian_mac
The good news just keeps on coming doesn't it. For me Archie has to take the majority of the credit here. Had the team not kept progressing over the past few years this simply would not have happened.

Lambies Lost Doo
I'd argue the board and the Weirs £££ should take bulk of the credit.
ScottyDFA
I have, what I think, is a fantastic idea for a location for this facility. Who do I contact at the Club to share my thoughts?

mulguy jag
Fabulous news from the club. I would like to see the bing being addressed next , to make the stadium a bit more attractive looking for our European nights.
westertonjagfan
This is brilliant news. I can imagine that this will help with attracting players to the club as well. A covered standing section on the bing next and I'll be a happy man. Maybe we can get the bing sorted for our European games next season??? Paddy Thistle
A lot of thanks to the Weirs for this and to the board in the way the club is being handled, no squandering of cash for instant gratification but building for the future and years to come
Jag
This is simply incredible news. It will give us a platform to operate on for many years to come. Over the moon.

Lambies Lost Doo
Would be great if it was still in Glasgow and had full size indoor pitch. Does not need to be overly fancy ala Toryglen but a tarpaulin type structure to protect from rain and wind would suffice.
MonehJags
It would need to be a fancy tarpaulin at £4 million
Rid Skwerr
What a brilliant piece of news. Top six on Saturday, then a dedicated trading facility on Tuesday. A wee win next Saturday would just complete the set. Huge thanks to the Weirs for their careful, considered and vital investments.

Lindau
Magnificent news! topcat
But were are the building it. Any news on that? Or have I missed something For me equally good news that our grass pitch will not be ripped up. I watched the highlights of the PT vs Rangers U-20s on the Jagzone and hardly a tackle put in if it meant a stretch and slide tackles non existant Edited April 11, 2017 by topcat
