Phoned to be told that "yes, there have been a few problems with the website". Asked if I could add it to my ST over the phone. The answer was "yes but only after 10.00". At 9.42 I can't see what difference it makes. Asked why this was so and was told it's "our new policy".

Save a phone call and don't phone before 10.00!

boys, boys, boys...

do what I do and send yer wee brother to the office in person!

It brings back all that nostalgia for getting sent to the pie and bovril stand to stand in the queue 15 minutes before half time to buy a cold pie and boiling bovril that is half spilt over your numb fingers before you make it back to your barrier behind the goals.

I think it's nice that the club has refused to embrace technology just so that my wee brother still has a purpose in life.

Interstadia which is the company behind the ticketing website, is apparently a one man band.

As a company it is spreading throughout Scottish clubs and likes of Morton and Dunfermline have had major issues this season when they've given this mob a contract for their ticketing and turnstiles arrangements.

At Morton for example, they only had the turnstile entry system working for first time on Saturday, after repeated delays of not being able to issue fan cards or a lot of their season ticket cards (AFAIK thats not even resolved yet, still people without cards), scanners not working, new turnstiles not installed in time for the seasons start, and an IT failure due to an alleged system upgrade. It's been total mayhem for the Morton fans, and reports of the Interstadia guy only coming in for an hour once a week to try resolve the issues over the past 6 or 7 weeks since season started. Can't recall who else right now I read about having issues with Interstadia, but there's certainly more clubs out there who've had problems with the interstadia ticket websites set up for them, where it doesn't work on all devices or doesn't recognise passwords, or logo gets in way of parts of page, or get so far trying to buy a ticket and it doesn't let you go further. So it's not just us.

That's what you get though for contracting out to a one man band who overstretches themselves with clients and can't even master building a functioning website template for all..

This better work tonight. The email receipt says 'pick up ticket before 5pm' whereas I've specifically asked for it to be added to my season ticket. It has to be said that this ticket system seems a bit of a shambles. Any web site should be tested using all browsers and it should be crystal clear how to use it. Don't buy IT on the cheap jags!
