Auld Jag
Yes it was just a year ago today,we were playing Ross County at Firhill looking to cement our place in the top 6. We went 1-0 down, but up stepped our number 9 to first score his 100th competitive goal for Thistle and then goal 101 to give us a 2-1 victory. Kris Doolan has been on 99 league goals for a number of weeks now. How fitting would it be if he scored league goal 100 on Tuesday and it was a winning goal as well?
lady-isobel-barnett
Most fitting indeed. As an aside I've just checked weather reports for Tuesday (albeit the BBC). Heavy snow forecast for Dingwall and perhaps just as important, Aviemore.
sandy
I’d bloody love Dools to net a couple on Tuesday after a fairly quiet season.

Got annual leave at work, bus booked and hotel for an overnighter booked for my first ever foray to Dingwall.
partickthedog
We began to realise just how excellent a striker Kris Doolan is when he netted a superb double on a midweek night in Dingwall, making the long journey there and back most worthwhile. A good omen indeed.
Auld Jag
Great to see the April Dools Day goals again. Only 3 years since we got top 6 in the premier. Yet another reminder of how far we have fallen in such a short time, not that we need a reminder. Surely a player of Dools quality hasn't lost it all in 3 years ?

Hopefully some good times for Thistle when the football restarts, whenever that may be. Hope you and your's are ok, elevenone.
exiledjag
Said before and will never tire of saying it - in the modern game when it comes to composure ( in general and in tight situation), first touch, intelligence and doing it consistently over many years Doolin is up there with the best. Those still playing I think Griffiths has similar qualities and also Mcdonald. If he had played for Celtic he would have scored loads more goals.
