Yellow & Redneck
Could see that coming a mile off. Archibald should have been sacked at Christmas. Tonight is but another insipid and uninspiring result in a long line of insipid and uninspiring performances. Mind you, what do our players have to aspire to when our manager seems content in the fact that we managed two points from the St. Johnstone and Ross County matches!? We can forget collecting 3 points at Dens Park. It isn't beyond the realms of possibility now that we will be automatically relegated with County perhaps getting something against a pretty stagnant St. Johnstone team. However, if we are relegated, it will be on merit. Could see this unfolding since the split last season. But two transfer windows, and close to an entire calendar year wasn't time enough for Archibald to put plans in place. Can't defend, can't create, and can't score. A deadly trifecta for any team. And every other result went our way this evening which makes this even more disappointing.
ironfist
No fight, no width, no creativity. Horrible season, sad to say we will deserve it if we go down
marco77
Horrible game to watch but sums up our season perfectly. Nothing up front, weak in midfield and poor defending. Had the feel of an end of season, nothing to play for game not a must win to stay up.
sandy
That will most likely be Livi in the play offs now. please, please, please, not Dundee Utd!

Barney Rubble
Not good enough - nowhere near it. Lost a dreadful goal from a free-kick (Michael Max please note - the problem wasn't the decision, it was the lack of defending.). The double substitution that removed Doolan and Erskine was plain ******* wrong. The team lost all momentum for 15 minutes after that. Storey is Azeez Mk 2 - although his drive that went just past was unlucky. And Archie - Christie Elliott is not, never has been and never will be a left back. We've been meandering along to the inevitable conclusion all season with too many thinking it will be all right next game. Well it hasn't and it isn't. Garscube Road End
Even if we survive a complete change is needed. New manager and coaching staff and a complete overhaul of the squad.
The Legend Blows
Relegate us now please. 10th officially impossible. Totally abysmal result as per usual. We have honestly been utter garbage since we made top 6 last April. County away at St J's Saturday and us at Dundee. Can guarantee you which 1 of the 2 will pull out the amazing result and secure the playoff spot. Gonna go hide somewhere on Saturday til it's all over. Radio/Tv/Coupon free day out wi the Mrs and the wean. Gonna be fascinating to see when Archie will go. I'll say next Monday.
ironfist
Hate to say it but I think we’re gone. Save for the accies game have not seen nearly enough fight given the situation we’re in. Highest paid players have been woeful and suspect a few of those out of contract have already sorted themselves out for next season. Love to be proved wrong but not holding my breath
javeajag
We should have got something from the match particularly in the first half but when you can’t defend cross balls you get our goals against stats the long ball game doesn’t work for us either ... Sammon doesn’t hold it up there is a good chance st j will rescue us

Norgethistle
Erskine & Doolan were great yet they get hooked, and go for like for like subs even though Motherwell changed formation at half time to nullify our threat. We still have no plan B Yet again we lose a goal from a set piece. We never learn Yet again we’re too slow on buil up play Im not sure whether to hope for a St Johnstone win against County as its only going to delay the inevitable as Livi will out battle us, and Utd will out play us. We cant keep clean sheets and we can’t score, barring a miracle I can’t see us being in this league come this time a week on Sunday
dl1971
We are where we deserve to be....another 30 mins of decent play and then outplayrd until last 5 mins. If we survive it will be sheer luck. Thank god im on holiday and i cant make saturday.....or the play offs...if we make it.

gianlucatoni
The SPFL should just cancel the last day of the season and relegate us, county & hamilton straight away - we've all been an embarrassment this season and brought nothing to the league - can't really say we deserve to stay up even via a possible play off - less than 40 points is a f***in reddy & despite being a defender of the status quo this season, these players need a new boss who will toe their lazy holes up and down Firhill Road until they get the message

Third Lanark
Just what was the point of the trip to Spain in January- other than the players and directors to get a suntan -and how much money was wasted- no more cuddly toy - aye right

David Brent
Good to hear the fans give the players the reaction they deserved at the end. A disgraceful performance, a team of complete and utter shitebags.
p12tfc
YET another goal conceded from a set piece. Absolute garbage. 1 away win all season and people are saying if we beat dundee we get 11th.... Lets be honest we are relying on County not winning to make 11th. We could probably do with Dundee United turning their tie around because Livi are all about set pieces and we can’t defend or attack from them
Auld Jag
Usual we had all of the possession in the first half but couldn't convert the few chances we had.Second half we did nothing and their goal was so easy, ball into the box and a header. How many chances did we have in the last 5minutes or so to put them under pressure and all we did was put terrible balls into the box that either went out or into goalies hand. laukat
The halftime change by Motherwell won the game. Putting a wide right player on exposed how narrow Edwards was on the left side and exposed the madness of playing a right footed player playing left back. Archie took far too long to spot the problem and put a sub on. Even when he put subs on it was effectively like for like which was just bizarre. If booth is not fit we either need to go with Penrice or play a 3-5-2 and play Lawless as a left wing back. Playing Elliot at left back slows down our usually outlet ball and because he is really uncomfortable on his left foot means there was next to no crosses for Salmon or Doolan to feed off. Very similar performance to the Ross County game. Decent first half but by half time the opposition manager figures out we have a right back playing left back, exploits the gap, takes control of the game and we created nothing from that point on. Archie need to watch that game back and realise it was his selection and inability to adapt to Motherwell's change that cost us.
