Tomorrow will be a defining moment in the history of the Jags, I sincerely hope that we look back and recognise how close we came to being the second tier club that most of us recognise before that moment that we all recognised that took us to being an established premier SPFL team. Come on the Jags!!

Today we need commitment, fight, guys who will run through walls for the manager, the fans and the club.

Today we need the support to be noisy from when we get to the ground.

Today till 6 o’clock we need to be one, fans, players, management team, board.

Give us a shift, be giants on that park, play with your hearts play for the badge, get out there and gerrintaethem Thistle!!!!

Looking for an unlikely hero.  One of the features of the last two seasons has been the number of Thistle players contributing at least one goal in the course of the season, to the point where at this time of year we could turn out a team where the outfield players had all scored. Not so this season. For the last few games, the starting eleven has contained only four players who have scored a league goal all season, which increases the pressure on these few. So, for the others in the team, now is a chance to make a name for yourself!

We were discussing on Thursday how the lack of goals from defenders and midfielders have been a big problem this season. I think only Keown is the only defender that has scored?

‘There is a tide in the affairs  of men. Which taken at the flood, leads on to fortune. Omitted, all the voyage of their life is bound in shallows and in miseries. On such a full sea are we now afloat and we must take the current when it serves, or lose our ventures’. Come on Thistle do the business -OTIG!

Overheard in a pub in Partick and credited to wee Jimmy Shakespeare, but generally considered by scholars to be based on an original work by W. Shakespeare, ‘Julius Caesar’  (Act 4, Scene3, Page 11).:)

We haven't had a good season but we are the Premier league team .We have better players and I would think that no player would want to be in a team that was relegated. If we play to our strengths we should win this and with a few goals to spare.Over to you Thistle management and players.
