Not unrelated perhaps but we're due to play a reserve game v Hibs tomorrow. Fair to assume those who took part in the game yesterday won't play with maybe the exception of Aiden F.

Struggling to see how we can put out a starting XI without drafting in a good few Academy lads. We've Sneddon, Keown & Wilson from yesterday's bench plus three other youngsters from the reserve squad. The rest are either injured or don't exist.

Here's the starting line up

Stevenson,

Duncanson (on loan but can play), Rodden, Trialist, McIntyre

Eadie, Fitzpatrick, Wilson

Kemoe, Trialist, Watson

and on ra bench

Scullion, Cameron, Renfrew & Vezza

Shouldn't most of that team be at school :)

I see Jordan Kemoe scored two v Queens Park at The Bens on Friday night.

I haven't seen him play LIB, have you?

Aiden is a terrific prospect but still very young - 17 years old.  There will be times when he needs rested from the hectic and energy sapping work required in the first team.  So he will play in the reserves to keep ticking over in less stressful games.  He has so far only played one 90 minutes for the big team so can easily play in the reserves.

The last young attacking talent to get bigged up I can remember was Adam Strachan...

I remember being excited when I first saw Strachan play then it was as if the skill and attacking threat was coached out him. I hope this doesnt happen to young Aiden. Let him play with the attacking freedom he has shown. He is exactly the type of footballer you pay and look forward to watching. When he came on at Ayr he was a breath of fresh air from the stagnant passing we've been accustomed to.

Well that's a good one!!

Hope it means we'll go two up front more often this season.

Was wondering that myself, or does it mean Doolan will drop a bit deeper? If Erskine struggles to last 90mins I wonder if he might  be replaced by Dools and vice versa.

Between Coulibaly, Mutombo, Storey and Fitzpatrick it is scary what we could do on the break.
