A little less of the jocularity, please. Can I just remind you all on today's date, back around the time when yon lassie that Sarstedt sings about was traipsing around France, a very sad event took place on the other side of the ocean. Yes, on this sleepy dusty day, 3rd of June, Billie Joe MacAlister threw himself off the Tallahatchie Bridge.  :(

Would be nice to see the new signings parades in the new kit. Would be good marketing.

When do we get the new kit?

From the minutes of the last PTFC Trust meeting the kits for this season have already been chosen. The issue will be sponsorship as we can't launch the new tops until a sponsor is in place.  I am sure Ross will be all over that but not knowing if we were a Premiership or Championship side until the last day does not help.

Any inkling of the aforesaid tap design? Is it another standard dull Joma template?

Here is hoping for some more creativity and edgy or retro design.

From the minutes:

 2018/19 Kit: this has been chosen as part of ongoing JOMA contract, which limits the scope for the design of the kit. However, there is potential to allow supporters to have a say the season after next (2020-21) to mark the 50th and 100th anniversaries of Thistle’s significant cup wins
