The one-off tourney was one of a number of fund-raising events were held at the time to aid the unemployed, and all 6 League teams from Glasgow took part. Attendances were maybe less than half the League average, although still healthy enough to raise some decent funds; in the region of 5,000 for the Thistle v Clyde game and around 10,000 for Thistle v Rangers in the semi. 20,000 saw the final between Rancid and Septic. For the purposes of this query, only the knockout ties of the League Cups, Spring Cup and Summer Cup were included. Query result: Thistle have never been eliminated from the knockout stages of two national cups by the same team in the same season. Gulp.
