elevenone
Looking forward to this one and hoping recent Thistle and not Ayr Utd Thistle turn up. Very winnable match if we ‘get in about them’ and attack. After his tackle on Brown last week can Storer continue cult status and nick Adam Bartons hairband during game? Working under the assumption that international clearance is not granted in time for Coulibaly and Gordon is crocked I would go along these lines and have a right go. Even with a few out finally the possibility of a full bench with decent options. C’mon the Jags. Bell Elliot O’Ware McGinty Penrice Ntambwe Storer Fitzpatrick Slater Mutombo Storey Subs:- Sneddon, Melbourne, Keown, Erskine, Wilson, Spittal, Doolan. elevenone
Oops just read Ntambwe is not match sharp so maybe drop Slater in there and put Erskine in behind Storey?

jags on tour
Same back 4 but Melbourne instead of Penrice, Penrice and Slater in holding mid with Mutumbo, Storer and Spittal infront and probably Dools upfront but if Storey is fit I’d go with him. elevenone
Fair shout about Penrice in midfield and sticking Melbourne at left back, he has done well in the middle. Nice to have some variants to choose from.
That 1 jags fan
Bell Elloit O’ware Mcginty Melbourne Slater Penrice Fitzpartick Erskine Mutombo Storey Sube: Sneddon, Kewon, Doolan, Spittal, Storer, Wilson , Natambwe Anyone know how long McCarthy and Gordon and out for? Alan Murray
Slater and Penrice look a bit lightweight but not a lot of other options, Bell Elloit O’ware Mcginty Melbourne Slater Penrice Spittal Erskine Mutombo Storey
David Brent
Fitzpatrick from the start please. He's more than good enough.

No argument that he's good enough to start. I'm sure Aiden can also put in a full 90 mins in a league game. After all he managed fine the other week against Stranraer in the Challenge Cup. However it's far more important that his career development is carefully managed. Might be worth noting that Fitzpatrick was hardly a regular starter in the U20s last season. He's actually made the step up from a position if anything of being under played. I'd also suggest the lad doesn't look fully developed physically and if that being the case it's likely he'll be used sparingly. So far, and I've seen every game this season, Aiden hasn't been subject to too much physical attention. True he can ride a tackle but he plays in a position (and in a way) that invites heavy tackling. So given his tender years I expect he'll not necessarily get the game time just now his form should warrant. Lambies Lost Doo
Bell Elliot O’ware Mcginty Melbourne Slater Penrice Spittal Storer Mutombo Doolan After his yellow card sub Storer for Erskine
Guest
This could be a right good game, hope we batter them from the start and exploit bartons dithering on the ball
The Jukebox Rebel
Should they avoid defeat today, Alan Archibald's Thistle will equal the 54-year-old club-record of 4 away League games without defeat versus United. partickthedog
Rubbish view. Used to look forward to wide expanse of Fait Play Stand along the side which gave one of the best perspectives for away fans. It is sitting there empty as though to mock us! Crammed into low elevation end stand with a huge stanchion right behind the goal. So either you sit in front 4 rows and see nothing at the far end or you have to play “Dodge the Pylon” all game. Coulibaly could be playing and I would not even know!

partickthedog
I agree that the stanchion moved more than any of the defence for the goal. Having said that after a ropey 10 minutes we began to play some pretty decent stuff and I would assess the general play as fairly even. We are still in this. Some good combinations involving Storey, Mutombo and Spittal. But so often ends in aimless ball to the wing or an unthreatening cross. Somehow we have to be more proactive in the final third and aim towards the goal! Would be good to bring on Coulibaly!
