CCjag
Jags fans of a certain vintage will remember when the back page of the club programme always featured a McCormick cartoon, often in praise (albeit of the faint variety) of the Jags and lampooning the gruesome twosome. I still have this one which followed a(nother) less than dynamic start to one season…..

I am glad to say that I fall into that certain vintage .I remember the cartoon on the back page of the program fondly,a good reason to visit my loft to bring back happy memories.. jaggy
That’s sad, always enjoyed his cartoons. RIP Malky
Rid Skwerr
Sorry to hear this news. The (Killie supporting) McCormick's cartoons were an eccentric symbol in a rather eccentric era for Thistle. I loved them, but they reinforce what a colourless era we're going through at the moment. Nae characters in the game any more......
lady-isobel-barnett
RIP, Malky. Smashing fella. I'm a proud owner of a caricature he done of me some 25 or so years ago. Watching him at his work was entertainment in itself.
sb1876
Saw him as an after dinner speaker once, he was a real character and extremely entertaining. RIP Malky.
Jaggernaut
I remember smiling at a good number of his cartoons. RIP

AlgarveJag
A recognisable style and a great talent from a bygone era. We could all do with a greater ability to laugh at ourselves and he held up a mirror that made that possible. RIP
Barney Rubble
He did a magazine of cartoons for Save the Jags. I've a couple of copies stored away in a boxful of Jags memorabilia. Hadn't realised his son had been brain damaged after an attack tn Kilmarnock in 2004. Sounds as though that affected Malky and his wife.pretty badly afterwards, sadly. RIP Malky, and thanks for all the laughs.
