Thank you DD.

The fundraising has been been a great success over the last four years. Curated not just by myself but also by @elevenone

In that time you, the forum members, have contributed over £19,700 to the club. That's something we can all be proud of.

Personally I am most proud of knowing that wherever he goes Kris Doolan, a living legend, will carry with him a trophy bearing our name.

It's time to look forward. I will not be doing the fundraising next season. I hope somebody will take it on. I set the bar quite low last season so a good target to aim for :). I am happy to offer any advice or help and, of course, will contribute. If anyone wants to talk about it, please PM me.

Mr Bowen is one of my favourite "Phils" of all time. He's to Jags fundraising what Spector is to the Wall of Sound, what Everly is to close harmony, what Silvers is to situation comedy.

Mr Bowen is indeed an unsung hero (unlike another Phil, Mr Collins, who would be more tolerable if he had remained unsung).

Phil has done tremendous work with his fundraising for Thistle over the years. I would also like to thank him for asking me to present the Doolan 100 trophy, which he asked me to do in Robert's memory. Phil also raised the majority of the money that paid for the memorial plaque in Robert's memory. Which is in the John Lambie stand. The rest of the money was raised by Digger by doing a collection at the Ross County game 1st April 2017. I am glad that Thistle have recognised Phil's achievements by putting it on the official site.

Mustn't forget that other well known music guy, Phil Armonic.

I think the obvious response to this news is....

What is Phil NOT telling us here?  And why is he purposely stalling development on the training ground?  I’m willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, but the fact he let Kris Doolan walk is just hard to get over.
