BowenBoys
Two ties go to a replay so no updated table until 19 Feb. Could be a new leader... ...and winner of the wooden spoon has been decided... Replay dates 18 February Motherwell v St Mirren 19 February Kilmarnock v Aberdeen Will we see our first penalty shoot out? Would fancy Aberdeen to miss all five tbh. Sixth Round to be played on the weekend of Saturday 29 February. Number of goals scored on Saturday was a paltry 12. Down to two Glasgow teams in the Cup following the demise of Broomhill Sports Club. On their way out they joined Brora Rangers on 9 goals in the competition. However, they both slip down the spreadsheet as Hibernian are now top scorers with 10 goals.

BB, you may laugh, but just wait until this time next season when the Scottish Cup quarter finalists are Partick Thistle and 7 non-league teams and I am the only contestant left in your competition! Seriously, thank you for organising this. It was fun while it lasted.

BowenBoys
Round 5 standings lady-isobel-barnett still leads. 100% success rate for jaf. Unfortunately the road to Hampden has ended in a cul-de-sac for one of our players. 15 left and 7 games to go. Round 6 selections are worth 5 points each. Available selections shown as white squares below. 8 players have a team in every match and jaf can select from all 8 teams. To thwart any tactical selection, I am happy to receive your selections by PM. Deadline 7.45pm, Friday 28 February
BowenBoys
Bonus Point Question 7 Will Celtic and Rangers play each other in a semi-final tie? Yes or No Well, this is an easy one. They each have a competitive fixture before we even get to the semi-finals. If they do both make it through, the (purely statistical) chance of them being drawn together is 33 and a bit%. There may also be traditions that render a meeting at this stage unlikely. Therefore, the answer is no. Isn't it? Deadline 7.45pm, Friday 28 February
Arete
I'll take Hibs, Aberdeen, Celtic, Hearts. Given I've selected bye bye Rangers then the answer to your bonus question is inevitably 'no'.

Dick Dastardly
Not much choice so Aberdeen, Celtic and Rangers .... controversial or what ? Against all odds, I’ll predict that the numpty picking them doesn’t understand the hot and cold balls and so YES to a Celtic v Rangers semi
scotty
I'll take Inverness, Aberdeen, Celtic and Rangers. And a very unlikely YES!
