exiledjag
Probably guilty of an over active imagination but I have long held the view the SFA are anti-thistle. This conspiracy 'hunch' of mind has been further encouraged by the abandonment of this game due to high winds. Any thoughts or views on whether the referee in charge of our recent game at Arbroath should have abandoned or even cancelled the game. I live in the NE and can say with confidence the wind last Saturday was nowhere near as strong as it was for our match. Of course Arbroath were 2-0 ahead at half-time! Auld Jag
I think a ref is more likely to abandon a game if it is a draw or a team only 1 goal ahead. I think we need to look at vast under achievement by players and management teams at Firhill ever since we managed top6, 3 seasons ago, before blaming refs or weather. lady-isobel-barnett
It's hardly the authorities fault we're ******' clueless* when a wind blows. * sorry that should read "even more ******' clueless"
elevenone
Who remembers ref abandoning game at Firhill in early 90’s vs Aberdeen when 2-0 down into 2nd half due to snow. How we laughed....until match was replayed 0-7.

P-R
On the Arbroath game - shouldn't have gone ahead but as others have said we are absolutely rotten anyway.
exiledjag
Oh well and notwithstanding we are a clueless lot I just keep a mental log of the accumulating injustices so that I can blame others for our relegation to League 1. Auld Jag
We are in a league with 2 part time teams and apart from Dundee Utd the other teams are very ordinary to say the least. We still have enough games to get out of this mess, but if we go down we only have ourselves to blame.

Despite the video evidence my recollection is that the snow didn’t start until half time, and snowed so hard during half time that the game didn’t restart. jaf
To be fair, the day we played, the wind was 40 odd mph, on Saturday it was almost 60mph!
MonehJags
Lets not forget the 'Miracle of Central Park' yon midweek back in 2013 that gave us a 2nd chance to go on and win the league........... Based over 30 months, I don't know how the SFA are to blame. I think your clutching at straws now. In fact laying it the blame on the steps of Hampden is usually the default stance the old firm take when their team get beat.

BowenBoys
IIRC He packed a large bag of straws when he left for Ross County.

I would at best say ambivalent, at worst, they don't know who we are. Only 2 teams that they care about one way or the other.
Auld Jag
Morton win at Ayr tonight. Looks like we are in a 3 way fight with QOS and Alloa to reach the dizzy heights of 8th.

I just cannot see us staying up, i look at that team and see nothing...pretty much like i have for the last 3 years but with off field issues as well i think we are doomed

No bones about it all 4 home games in March vs Qos, Dunfermline, Alloa and Morton must be won otherwise I think its curtains especially as these fixtures are mixed in with 3 away trips to top 4 teams. Club should be offering some 4 match package to maximise the support for these vital games.
Dick Dastardly
Sorry but you are delusional if you think we can win 4 home games in a row, having only won 2 all season.

Auld Jag
Most other teams have had an unbeaten run of 7 or more games, we need something like that , with the majority of them being victories. So far our best run was December, 3 wins and 1 defeat.
